Had a board meeting there for 6 hours in their back room and the owner was more than accommodating, and an incredible hostess! For the life of me I cannot remember her name but she was phenomenal! The building has such character and I believe it was the old firehouse? It is in such a lovely part of old fort Collins and just calls to you with history! I wasn't able to walk due to a surgery and I had a knee scooter so she made sure I had plenty of space and room to get around! She made sure I had a couch so my foot was elevated and an extension cord that went across the whole meeting room so I could plug my laptop and my heating pad in! She made sure all of us were comfortable and, had absolutely anything and everything we needed! This place has all kinds of wondrous trinkets and local artists selling their wonderful wares, goods, and works! I also heard that upstairs there is an escape room but because I was pretty immobile I couldn't get upstairs to check it out but as soon as I am able to I will! As soon as you walk in they have beautiful little birds that are singing away to welcome you and tell you to enjoy your visit as the cashiers and staff welcome you and ask if you need any kind of assistance.
I will definitely come back here and I would love to check out their escape room and I can't wait to come back and come shopping once I'm literally back up on my feet! Thank you for such a wonderful experience I can't wait to bring my mom back as well! This is definitely a place to come on vacation to go souvenir shopping they have a lot of wonderful one-of-a-kind things and it's a great way to support your local small...
Read moreThis is one of my FAVORITE shops in Fort Collins. There’s always a huge selection of incredible finds, unique gifts, and amazing vintage pieces for both house and wardrobe. Some of my favorite gifts have come from this place, as they’re unique and high quality but reasonably priced (a rare find). There’s always something new and you can find something in every price range. The employees and owner are all extremely nice and super helpful. During one of my shopping experiences, a small item didn’t make it into my bag (a simple and honest mistake). I didn’t realize until I got home and completely forgot to follow up with the shop for quite some time. I came in and explained the situation and the owner was extremely apologetic and made a considerable effort to find the item. Unfortunately it had been too long, but the owner gave me a complementary pair of earrings to make up for it and profusely apologized. The earrings are beautiful and I could not be more happy with the way things turned out. I just appreciated that they helped to look for them in the first place after such a long time - I never expected anything additional but am so grateful. I am proud to support such an honorable and kind businessperson. Highly recommend and I will...
Read moreMy friend Nick (a professional photographer) and I rented the upstairs artist studio/photography space recently for a photoshoot. I am currently going through breast cancer treatment so wanted to get some pre-surgery photos to help me though this journey. Linda and her business partner who own Walnut Creek together were absolutely fantastic in letting us rent the space last-minute when our original space cancelled on us. The space upstairs at Walnut Creek is amazingly beautiful and a wonderful setting for any type of photography or event. We had so much fun and it gave us the best lighting and setting we could have asked for. They were so gracious and sweet and we could not have asked for a better experience! The store itself is also super cute and has tons of adorable gifts, cards, and home decor. If you’re a photographer, in marketing, or just looking for a sweet or quirky gift, definitely try...
