DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Fort Lauderdale

Typically I love this store, but after my last visit, I would prefer not to visit again. I went into the store to buy 2 pair of running shoes. I have a common size but they had no stock but love to display everything like they do. So i was offered to order them in store which i did, but than the computer locked up, than was asked to move to the golf department to order which took forever. The order was placed and assured i got my reward points and free 2 day delivery. Walking out i noticed a 5 day delivery and no reward points..I went back in and asked to speak to a manager, she said the same bs. Than told me to call 1 number for rewards and another for customer service. I called the rewards number, of course no record plus she had no idea how to claim your $$$. Than i called customer service. The agent who could NOT understand English or Spanish said i did not receive my free 2 day shipping and said we could cancel the order and reorder . Omg after over an hour with this i said just cancel it. I went online ordered from Amazon getting them today. I really LOVED this store but its time for training or more structure. I recently visited Dick's Sporting Goods in Fort Lauderdale, and I must say that my experience was exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who were not only friendly but also genuinely eager to help.

Prices are outrageous. It took a while for someone to help us, even though there were at least 4 employees in the shoe department. I asked one girl where the kids' softball cleats were and she pointed to the kids' wall, which obviously didn't have any kids' cleats on it. I told her no, try again. She then asked over the microphone where the softball cleats were, so I spoke to her slowly so she could add "KIDS" to her request. Even after that, it was just overwhelming. The prices went higher depending on the size, and i'm not talking about the change between kids and adults, I'm talking between an adults 8 and an adults 10... which sounds crazy to me. I have all 3 kids in softball but I'm not rich. The fact that my 11-year-old daughter wears a size 10 shoe was not up to me. Why is the same shoe that is marked at $65 now $80 when she tries on a size 10? We also looked at gear. I wasn't going to pay for the $70 bat the guy showed my youngest. I don't even know if she knows what softball is. Thanks but no thanks. We went to a different big-name retailer and I bought shoes for half the price, and ended up spending more because I could buy...
