Our wedding was a couple weeks ago. We were so happy with all of the vendors we used EXCEPT MEN'S WAREHOUSE! This has to have been the worst shopping/customer service experience of my life!!!! When we first picked out the men's attire it seemed like it would be a pretty seamless process. They took the names of each of the groomsmen as we had 7 in total living in all different parts of Florida. We were told all they had to do was go into their local store and give their or my husbands name. All but one of the guys (included my now husband) called me with issues! One of our guys was a size 3XL vest which they failed to mention to us that only came up to a size XL when we originally picked out the outfit. They showed it in stock on their website up to a 5XL and when I called customer service about that they said their website is not accurate and never up to date???? One of the guys who went into the store bought the outfit but the store somehow missed one of the pieces that was to be included in all the orders (a belt) and he had to go back. Another guy went into one of the stores and was told they could not pull up the order by names and that we had to get the group number. I had to call the store where we placed the original order and get the group number (which they told us is ridiculous and that the other store should have been able to pull it up by the names). They told my husband when he went in that they didn't have his size in the store but that they would order it and it would be in within 3 days. 2 weeks later , it still wasn't in!! I called numerous times only to finally find out that they had it the whole time but had accidentally put it on the wrong rack. On the day of our wedding the guys were getting ready and one of them pulled out his outfit and he had a completely different color than everyone else!!! This was the color the store told him was the one we had picked out, which obviously was not. I know it seems convenient because Men's Warehouse has so many locations but I promise you, it is not worth the stress and aggravation!!!! Go...
Read moreI went to this location to try and set up tux rentals for my upcoming wedding, and brought along my fiance and two of his groomsmen. Immediately when we walked in the store they let us know that their computer system was down, but that we were welcome to look around, get measured, and see different options, they just couldn't register us in the database. We said that was fine, and walked to the back of the store to the rental and dressing area. I explained to the lady there that we were wanting to look at tux rentals for our wedding. She was initially helpful and showed us a few mannequins they had, but told me that was all there was to look at and I needed to decide from those. I asked several times if there was a book to look at, and that we wanted to get the guys measured for rentals, and all she did was stare at me. Another man walked up, and said we needed to pay a deposit before they would even show us any rentals or measure the guys, and that I needed to "pick something" before they would move forward.
How am I supposed to "pick something" when you won't show me a catalog, or refuse to show me anything before I pay a deposit? Normally you pay a deposit after you decide everything to hold the reservation, not to be serviced in the first place. Also, why would I pay a deposit if you can't even set me up in your system? Or if I don't even know the price of the rental? Overall the experience was very bizarre and frustrating. The gentlemen that walked up was very rude and condescending, and made us feel as though we weren't welcome in the store. My fiance and I look younger than we are, and experience this in customer service sometimes. We immediately left and went to a nearby Jos. A. Bank, and received awesome customer service. BEFORE...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience at this location. The only positive thing I can honestly say is that the store itself was very clean when I arrived. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended.
When I first walked in, I stood at the front for a noticeable amount of time without being greeted or even acknowledged, despite four employees standing nearby at the front of the store—most of them on their phones. Throughout my entire time there, I was ignored. There were no other customers in the store, just me and the staff, who spent most of the time chatting amongst themselves and, quite shockingly, talking negatively about customers.
Not once did anyone approach me or offer a simple, “Is there anything I can help you with?” I had to go out of my way just to get a basic “hello.” The complete lack of professionalism and courtesy was extremely disappointing.
As someone who has worked in retail when I was younger and understands what good customer service should look like, I strongly encourage management to review the in-store cameras and take a serious look at the level of service being offered here. I understand some people leave unfair reviews, but I can assure you this comes from a place of genuine disappointment and a desire to see better...
