The employees talk about the customers. I was in the store today, looking at the ornaments. There was 1 other customer there and the employee was complaining to the employee in the jewelry section. She was annoyed that she had to provide a price check on several items, (I hope they realize they do have signs all over the store that say if you touch it and break it you bought it, And most often you can't see the price from just looking at the item). She continued to make comments like that customer has a black/white Amex card and they should be able to pay for anything, and that the customer bought the cheapest Harry Potter mug. The employee and the jewelry section that it probably wasn't her credit card. They then continue to say how the customer should be shopping at the dollar store. ---- I understand we're all human and we all complain about things that bother us maybe they were in a bad mood that day but you should really make sure that there are no customers in the store before you start complaining about other people. I found this to be completely unimprofessional a complete turn off I won't be returning to this store again. I recommend anybody that shop at this location be very aware of what they're saying about their customers they don't...
Read moreI was very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I came in to get a birthday card for a co-worker. I wanted something a little nicer than the typical grocery store card, so I thought I would try them out. A woman and man were working when I was there...No ONE greeted me; they said absolutely nothing. They just watched me as I walked around the store. Once I found the card that I wanted, they insisted that I check out at the jewelry counter. The man behind the counter took his time putting down his bowl of food to ring up my item. He did not tell me how much the item cost; he just sat there...I waited because I wanted to see how long it would take him to tell me the cost of my purchase; after 30 seconds, he told me how much I owe. I initially thought it could have been a language barrier, so I wasn't upset, but after I swiped my card, I noticed they talked to and greeting other potential customers as they came in. It is safe to say that I would never shop at this store again, nor would I want a gift from this location. Stay far away from...
Read moreVery nice, well sticked shop! I was very disappointed with the service though. Seemed to be watched and was not greeted warmly. It's a card shop so one would expect warm greetings. I've always l9ved going into other Hallmark stores but the vibe was off at this one both times I went there. Also, this is the only Hallmark that I've ever gone to that charges tax on the monthly free card! That's a money grab for sure and is unfortunate cause I'd actually likely spend more if they didn't try to get a few extra cents on something advertised as free as part of the loyalty club! I'll drive further to another Hallmark...
