This used to be one of my favorite places to play airsoft, but after what happened recently, I honestly don’t see myself coming back. I got banned for shooting a piece of cover that was already damaged — and yeah, I get that I probably made it worse, and I would’ve been totally fine paying for the repair. But instead of even talking to me about it, the staff just banned me on the spot. No warning. Really, who needs a conversation when you have a ban hammer, right? I accept 100% responsibility of what I did and I know it was wrong. But here’s the crazy part — all my friends got banned too… and they weren’t even there that day. Literally had nothing to do with it. Makes total sense — one guy shoots a prop, so obviously his entire friend group must be criminals too. Is that how justice works now? We’ve always followed the rules, played clean, and respected the staff. It feels like we were just grouped together and punished for being part of the same friend group. I actually used to get along really well with the staff, but ever since we started showing up more — running fast, playing hard, wearing the fuzzy plate carriers — it’s like they’ve been out to get us. I guess being good at the game is a problem now? Or maybe they just don’t like people having fun? I guess our real mistake was playing harder, running fast, and wearing fuzzy plate carriers — that was all it took for the staff to decide we were a problem. Can’t have anyone looking like they’re actually having fun, right? The vibe totally changed once we started standing out, like we were being watched, just waiting to get blamed for something. I used to like this place, but guilt by association is a lazy excuse for banning people who did nothing wrong. Especially my friends. And here’s the cherry on top: I’ve got GoPro footage of actual fist fights breaking out at this field. So apparently, shooting cover that’s gonna get shot at anyway= instant lifetime ban, but throwing punches? Totally normal. Just another fun-filled day at your local airsoft field, I guess. Isn’t that exactly what you want from a “safe and friendly” game? Oh, and let’s not forget how other players (adults) have gotten in my friends’s faces, even though they are minors—and still nothing is done about it. Meanwhile, we get banned for way less. Seems like the consequences really depend on who you are and what you wear. The field told me on Instagram to “have fun at a different field” and didn’t respond when I asked if my friends could be unbanned for things they didn’t do. If they had handled the situation fairly and professionally from the start, I wouldn’t have had to write this...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to simple airsoft, my experience was far from what I had expected. From the moment I arrived, it became clear that the field's management and facilities were lacking. The check-in process was disorganized, with staff seeming overwhelmed and unable to answer basic questions about game rules or safety protocols.
The field itself was poorly maintained, and areas that were dangerous to navigate. They also have barely any ac and no places to sit after a game.
The gameplay itself was chaotic, with little to no communication from the referees. It felt like there was no effort to ensure fair play or enforce the rules, leading to confusion and frustration among players. Additionally, the environment felt unsafe, with players not following basic safety guidelines, and there was no visible effort from staff to monitor or correct these issues. The first game i played 5 minutes in i saw 2 guys fighting and the ref hade no idea of this and they kept fighting for about 2 minutes till they stopped.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I left feeling frustrated and disheartened by the lack of professionalism and attention to player safety. I would not recommend this airsoft field to anyone seeking a fun and...
