This is a nice little spot if you're looking for a good selection of sandwiches. The menu has a great variety of unique combinations at reasonable prices, so there's likely a sandwich at a great price for your needs. Also check out their (daily?) deals which typically include a sandwich, chips and drink at a discounted price.
This was my first time eating here so it is possible my opinion will evolve as I try more off the menu. I ordered a Cuban sub - I typically get this when I try a new restaurant because getting a familiar sandwich is a good way to benchmark the overall experience. That being said, their version of the Cuban is very "American". It doesn't contain the usual pork found in a traditional Cuban, instead the pork is more like a seasoned ham. This made the taste much saltier than usual. At first glance the size can be deceiving, at 8 inches the sandwich looks like it's on the smaller size. However this is not the case and I found the portion to be very sufficient. Ingredients were all fresh and the bread was nearly pressed. While I didn't prefer the taste, it was still a great sandwich overall and I would recommend it as long as you don't mind the sodium. Drinks consist of a selection of soda from their cooler.
Seating includes 3 tables outside, 1 small table inside and several stools along a counter area. I visited around 1-2pm and things were relatively quiet, not too busy. I see this more as a place to dine solo or order to go. Although small groups may also enjoy it. Overall a good place to...
Read moreApparently there are new owners. The original guy sold to Sergio?? Went downhill FAST in the last few weeks!!! They couldn't make a simple Italian sub with a minor request. I went in and they had to remake the whole thing, wrongly again. It was soggy, looked like they put it together with a weedeater and was very light on meat. I called to ask for a better job this time and a woman with a heavy accent gave me attitude like it was my fault I wanted something made right. She started to blame her kitchen staff as being incompetent or something but by this point I decided an extra 5 minute drive would be well worth it to eat from a much better sub shop. Their once good business name is now mud.
LIES!!!!! I did not order a "wet" sub. It had no oils nor an over abundance of veggies. I never gave you my name when I called in to ask you to do better. So you do not know who I am and you couldn't possibly have any recollection of my order. Except if you do remember, you had to actually remake it twice while I was standing there in front of you. Spin this anyway you want but you lost me and all my co-workers as customers at the very least,,,, and hopefully I've made potential consumers know you are mediocre at best and will make up lies to try and cover your inadequacies. You had your chance to make it up to me on my phone call but chose to blame the consumer and while also calling your own staff inept. Nice...
Read moreIt was my first time here and it didn’t start off with the best service. I ordered a chicken salad sub. It was definitely delicious. I just wish the customer service was better. Just because your food is good doesn’t mean you treat people unfairly. Especially when it wasn’t my fault. They need to hear what the problems are and solve the issue right away. Customer service is more important to me than the food. I will not spend my hard working money on a business that doesn’t know how to speak to their customers. It left a bad taste in my mouth, so unfortunately I will not be going back.
I work in the medical industry and we would never hang up or speak to our clients the way I was treated. In the end they apologized and gave me a free bag of chips, but unfortunately first impressions are everything. Take care wish you the best with your future business. Try to take your clients advice and do better by people. I’m sure you will be...
