My parents and I recently swapped from Verizon to AT&T and used this store to do so. At first, we really liked the girl that helped us. She seemed informative, and we are not hard people to please. She was nice and stayed after hours to help us, which we appreciated. However, that was back in May, and ever since she has touched my phone, I have had issues. I am not tech savvy. I could not tell these folks how to do their job, but, especially my text messages, have had a lot of issues.
My parents purchased new phones and have had less trouble. I kept my same phone, and she just swapped it over from Verizon. At first, my group messages would not work. Phone calls wouldn't work. Now, those things work, but my iMessage won't work. I am a hair stylist, so texts and calls are how I take my appointments. I thought it could be an Apple thing, however after contacting Apple (numerous times for hours), it seems to fall back on AT&T. When calling the store, they always ask to come in store. We live about 25-30 minutes away, and with my work schedule this never works. I am not qualified to do their jobs, so I am not one to judge or bash; however, I don't believe all of these workers are completely qualified either. Do your research before just letting anyone...
   Read moreI went there to add 2 lines to my plain and only ended up doing one because they would not do the 2nd one they told me to call at&t if I wanted to do the 2nd one and instead of adding the first line to my plain like I asked them to do they created a whole new plan in my name and was going to have me paying for 2 separate plans if I would not have checked it when I got home so instead of the 35 add a line price I was supposed and thought I was getting set up with they was going to charge me 145 dollars extra and I ended up having to go to a corporate store because after they where done I couldn't even call at&t and fix my plain because they changed the main number and phone that had control to the account and at&t couldn't even find or text my...
   Read moreMy wife and I had an excellent experience with Ashley and Evan at this AT&T store in Fort Payne. They were able to get our cell numbers transferred from a previous service provider. They also got us signed up for AT&T Internet Air. They were transparent during the entire process and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed. They followed up with us directly after leaving the store in the days which followed to ensure we were satisfied with everything. The entire experience made us feel valued as customers. In the future, we plan to continue going to this store, and I highly recommend others give this location...
