The Bakery District — Local services in Fort Smith

Lots of food trucks here, when I arrived all of them were closed except one... Lily's sandwiches. As I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat anyway, this worked in my favor. The sandwich was the best sandwich I think I've ever had! It was a homemade pesto, shaved fresh turkey, and sauteed tomatoes on sourdough. The ingredients spoke for themselves and the preparation was spot on. The gentleman working the food truck, (I believe was the owner) was incredibly friendly and since it was slow, delivered my food to me at the Mad Ox brewery across the way. Eat here as soon as you can! You won't be disappointed.

I just happened to be in town and was attracted to the building. I was thoroughly impressed. It’s a fantastic renovation of an existing building that housed the Shipley bakery. I relaxed while sipping the fantastic coffee that some locals recommended. A panini sandwich was also perfect. The atmosphere is something you have to experience. The atmposphere is great here. They have a covered patio, and access to a local coffee shop, bookstore,and bar, along with a fourth place that opens a few times a week to host game tournaments such as ping pong, corn hole, and others. Tthey try to have at least one band out a week for live music,depending on weather, and have various other wvents, such as trivia night.
