I have never written a bad review because I love to give the benefit of the doubt and be Switzerland. However, I wish I could rate -5 stars for the lack of customer service & horrible quality of food. I used to eat here all the time with my family but tonight I could not have been more disappointed & dissatisfied. I ordered a Steven Special (typical, I know) with EXTRA queso and jalapeños. Simple, right? Excited to stuff my face with what I thought was going to be some amazing food, all of my hopes, dreams, and aspirations were quickly CRUSHED when I realized my food was not only DRY but COLD. I called & spoke with the hostess about my concerns, thankfully she was sweet, and she told me to come down and they would fix it. No problem. When I get there (about 5 minutes later) there was a woman behind the counter, I assume the hostess, and she immediately turned around and went to the kitchen. I didn’t get a “Hello, how may I help you?” or “How many?” or even a “Yo, what’s up?” NADA. So I sit my food down on the counter with my receipt and patiently wait for someone to talk to. About five minutes later the manager comes out, with all the confidence in the world, looks at my food, and PROCEEDS to SHOVEL through it to try and show me (as if I’m some illiterate child), that there was indeed queso in my food.. Please tell me if I’m tripping and my eyes are playing a cruel trick on me but do y’all see any queso on here?? Does it look dry to y’all too?? Let a girl know!! Help a sister out!! So I prayed, HARD, REAL HARD to the GOOD LORD above to be a fence so I didn’t do anything that would get me on the news or..worse. Once I got my irritation under control, I took a breath, countered back and told him that this is not what I ordered and I would like for him to remake it. I don’t know about y’all but I AM NOT about to be choking on some DRY bleep food. No Lord, not I!! So the manager told me that he wasn’t going to do that because there was queso in my food but I could buy extra queso. So I go out to my car and grab 4 precious quarters out of my gas fund to pay for this “extra” queso. I get back in the restaurant and wait for the manager to come back out. I instantly get a horrible vibe as the manager and two other employees come out with smirks on their faces. The manager then gives me my DRY & COLD food back, a small container of queso, and my precious quarters back. He then proceeds to tell me how he was actually being generous because he was giving me a “LARGE” queso that was 3x more than what I wanted by price and quantity. WOOOOOW. I quickly said thank you and told them to have a goodnight. I took my DRY bleep food & overpriced but free queso and went back home. Now I’m sitting here all skeptical to eat this DRY & VERY COLD food because I’ve seen & heard WAY TOO many food horror stories. So I am going to pray over it with good faith and put it in the fridge. I don’t know if I’m going to eat it or not yet. Depends on how hungry I am around 2am. I am still VERY upset & salty but this will definitely be the last time I will ever go to this location or even think about eating here again. LITERALLY...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst service and food I have had in a very long time. Even with the concessions given to restaurants because of the pressure and restrictions of Covid, this was a restaurant experience beyond belief. After waiting too long to be seated during a very slow time for the restaurant we had to ask the cashier to go find our waitress so we could place our order. When she brought our chips and salsa the salsa bowls were sitting on top of the chips. So the germs from the wait staffs hands on the outside of the bowl were now directly on the chips they wanted us to eat. I did say we have Covid concerns, right? Not very sanitary.
After we ordered we did not see our waitress again until the end of our meal. My plate for $9.99 was the smallest ten dollar plate I have ever seen. The chimichanga was about 5 inches long , 2-inches wide and almost flat. Not what I would categorize as a ten dollar meal. There could not have been 2 ounces of beef in the thing. I sent it back via a employee who was walking by our table(still no waitress). At this point my water glass has been empty for 10 minutes. Part of my wife's order that was left out arrived. With it the came the manager who tried to intimidate me into paying for my meal even though I felt it was insufficient for the cost. I refused. He keep pushing the issue telling me how wrong I was.he said " you ordered it. You need to pay for it" I responded, "it needs to be a quality product." He was so hateful and mean I walked out of the restaurant instead of sitting there being abuse. The managers opinion was the meal wasn't just the chimichanga. It included the rice, beans....etc.
My response was that I had ordered a chimichanga not rice, beans etc with a 4 bite fried burrito. 10 bucks for 4 bites is not what I call a good quality product.
My sons fajitas were awesome. My wife's food was great tasting but they forgot half of it. And she was left waiting without food until the forgotten part of her meal arrived.
I was not happy with the quality of food, the service, the lack of covid concerns in the restaurant, and the intimidation tactics of...
Read moreStopped to eat dinner with my wife on the 23rd of December, around 6 pm. We eat at this location 2 to 3 times a month, when we are in Ft. Smith and this visit was very disappointing. Once we were seated, we waited 10 minutes for someone to bring us chips and salsa and another 5 or so minutes to get our drink order taken. Once we were given our drinks, we waited for almost another 10 to have our order taken. The food was served in about the same amount of time it usually takes us to get an order, 8 to 10 minutes. Once we got our order, we didn't have a single wait person stop by our table except to give our check to us and offer us a box after we had finishedour meal 15 minites earlier. We ran out of tea and chip less than halfway through our fajita and never got nor was asked if we would like a refill the entirety of our visit. We only ate about 2/3 of our meal before it got cold because we needed more to drink and had hoped for more chips for our large cheese dip, which we ate less than half of because, again, no refills of our chips. This location has always been our favorite of the 3 locations in Ft. Smith due to its location, atmosphere, and live music. When we arrived, there were only four, maybe 5 other tables with people seated and a party of six arrived about the time we were served our food. Sadly, we will never return to this specific location again because of the terrible service. We spent about $60 for the whole meal, with the double fajita, two teas, and a large cheese dip. The food was, as it has always been, excellent. One can be served the best food that can possibly be cooked, but if the service is absolutely garbage and you are ignored, the food makes absolutely no difference. When we choose a restaurant to eat at, we do so because of the service and then, secondly, the food. I hate that this was our last visit, but I refuse to return to a location where we were made to feel like our stopping in didn't matter, as long as we...
