UPDATE (8/18/23) New management is great! They are very responsive and it is clear they take pride in our community by scheduling regular social events for residents, upkeep of buildings, and new pest control company! There has been a huge improvement in communications. Amy and April are awesome.
I have been living at Constellation Ranch apartments since 2020 and am immensely disappointed in the new management. The lack of communication between management and staff is evident. No one ever seems to be on the same page and there is little to no compassion for residents. I've had so many issues since the transition to new management. These are just the big ones: Issue #1 - new parking/towing policy is a SCAM! Our vehicles have been booted TWICE. One of which was clearly registered, but I forgot to change my plates over on the account when they came in the mail. Tried to dispute the boot/charge and the towing company wouldn't release it. And the apartment complex won't do anything to help. The Constellation Ranch staff I spoke with said this keeps happening and she doesn't agree with it and would talk to management but nothing has been done. We already pay thousands in rent and fees each month, it's terrible to take advantage of residents like this. Issue #2 - We moved from a 3rd floor unit to a 1st floor unit and the transition was a disaster. It took months to get a confirmed move-in date and when we finally made it into our new unit there were several issues. There was black mold in the master shower. The hardwood floor we had been promised was not put in - so we are stuck with carpet. BUT the worst of all was we had a roach infestation. I was told by an staff member the apartment next door had been left vacant and was in terrible condition - he disclosed that there was food and pet feces everywhere - and apparently they couldn't clean it because of some legal dispute with the previous resident. When I told management about the roaches, they acted shocked and told me they had been treating the building regularly. I talked to my neighbors (who also complained about roaches) who said management again, acted shocked, completely denying our claim. We paid for pet boarding and bombed our apartment and set roach bait out in every room - it didn't work. I contacted the front office again and they sent pest control out. The guy just put out more bait. Despite paying monthly fees for pest control, we didn't bother calling again since we knew they would just but more bait down and we had already done that. We had roaches the first three months in this unit until they FINALLY started gutting that abandoned unit next door. Issue #3 - contractors were hired to replace the flooring in the unit above us and they worked until 2am. I went up and knocked to complain and called the front office and left a message. No one ever responded or acknowledged this. This went on for three days. I have a child and was pregnant at the time. Very frustrating.
I am so disappointed in the new management. The apartments are nice though and we love the location. I just keep hoping someone new will take over again...
Read moreAt first I had nothing but good things to say about these apartments. The way the apartments are set up (or at least the way mine is) is good. The problems are management.
Some of my favorite things about my apartment are the patio and the small office since i work remotely right now. The amenities are neat however, the only one I have ever really used is the gym.
I had one negative experience with the manager Sonya Smith. To summarize it I had brought a maintenance issue up to one of her staff members Dallas who I guess went and told Sonya that I was rude. Sonya came into the gym and started yelling demanding I come with her to check the clicker (the clicker is how you get into the gym). I had work in an hour so I could not so I simply told her I could not. She apparently did not like that response and "banned" me from all the amenities (didn't know that was even a thing) and deactivated my clicker (which also goes to the front gate and back gate). I walked over to her office and asked her what the problem is. She FLIPS OUT and explains that I am her problem and that I'm rude. She goes crazy and starts saying repeatedly "its all on camera" (I hope they have sound).
If you can deal with that then you'll probably enjoy living here. I won't be renewing my lease with them.
UPDATE 04/22/2021
I genuinely wish I could say it has got better. Normally you inform the residents of the apartment your entering prior to entering the apartment for maintenance. They just enter your apartment without your permission. They have "mandatory inspections" that they TELL you will happen at random via emails. I thought this was Texas not China. There is leaks everywhere. I have a leak in the middle of my living room and know a couple other people in the complex who have leaks. The building is quite literally being ripped apart in the hallways which leads one to assume their are leaks everywhere.
To put a cherry on top of it all to break your lease requires a 60 day notice and 85% of all of the rent for those 60 days UPFRONT. I've lived in various complexes over the years and this is by far the worst management I have seen.
To whoever wrote that bs of a reply. Do not enter my apartment without my permission especially without telling me exactly the time-frame and date. Without that any one of your employees can take any of my belongings and I would have no way of holding them accountable. But I'm sure you already know that being an experienced...

I wish I could rate our move-in experience lower than one star. My wife and I moved in just a month ago, and from the very start, itâs been a nonstop series of problems.
When we arrived, neither the toilet nor the air conditioning worked. We had no AC for the entire weekend. Management didn't have time to do a proper walkthrough and check everything before we could move in so i had to do it myself. The refrigerator had a horrible smell and wasn't replaced for over a week so we had to throw out food and rely on takeout the whole time. Both the washer and dryer were defective. The dryer dripped either oil or grease and damaged multiple new items, including clothes and bed linens. Despite reporting it, I still havenât been compensated or taken seriously. We got replacements for dryer and washer and the issue stopped but according to them "there's no way they can confirm that the grease originated from their appliances".
The garage was a mess, with trash, sharp screws on the ground, and a toy cart that created a tripping hazard. I also wasnât given a key when I moved in. The apartment itself was dirty. We ended up spending two full days deep-cleaning it on our own. Iâve seen roaches in the unit, even after pest control visited. They offer a clean out but in order to do that we have to take our pet and ourselves out for a few hours but that means we have to miss a day of work and come back home and wash and clean counters and dishes because whatever they will spray can get us sick. Key cards to the main gates haven't function since day one but if you lose them they will charge $100 per keycard. We've reported everything clearly and respectfully from the beginning. After weeks of back-and-forth, emails and calls, we were finally offered a transfer to a different unit â but only after dealing with all this stress, financial loss, and damage to our belongings. Management has refused to acknowledge the full extent of the situation or offer any real support.
This has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience. We've made every effort to be understanding and professional, but the lack of accountability from management has been extremely disappointing.
If youâre considering moving here, inspect everything carefully and donât assume help will be there if...
