Whataburger, a fast-food chain that hails from Texas, has earned quite the reputation for its mouthwatering hamburgers, but there's one aspect of their menu that has been a bit of a letdown in my experiences—their fries. Allow me to share my thoughts on this beloved establishment.
First and foremost, Whataburger has a special place in the hearts of many, thanks to their delicious hamburgers. These burgers are iconic, and for good reason. The patties are sizable and cooked to perfection, with a juicy, flavorful quality that makes each bite a savory delight. The buns are soft, yet sturdy enough to hold up against the generous toppings, which include fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, and a choice of condiments. The combination of these elements results in a burger that consistently hits the mark in terms of taste and satisfaction.
The menu at Whataburger offers a variety of burger options, from classic cheeseburgers to more adventurous choices like the A.1. Thick & Hearty Burger. Each burger has its unique flair, catering to different taste preferences. Whether you're a purist or someone who enjoys bold flavors, Whataburger has a burger for you.
However, the fries at Whataburger have consistently left me a bit disappointed. While they're generally decent in flavor, they often suffer from a common issue—sogginess. It's not uncommon to receive a bag of fries that have lost their crispy exterior by the time you get them home. This can be a letdown, especially when you're expecting the perfect pairing of crispy fries with your delicious burger. It's worth noting that the size of the fries is quite generous, so there's plenty to enjoy if they remain crispy.
Despite the occasional letdown with the fries, Whataburger's service is generally prompt and efficient. Whether you're going through the drive-thru or dining in, the staff is friendly and ensures that your order is prepared accurately. They have a reputation for being accommodating, which is appreciated by customers who may have specific requests or dietary preferences.
In conclusion, Whataburger undeniably delivers on the promise of great hamburgers that have become a Texas institution. Their juicy, flavorful patties and variety of burger options make it a go-to destination for burger enthusiasts. However, it's important to keep in mind that the fries can sometimes be a bit disappointing due to their tendency to become soggy. Despite this minor drawback, Whataburger continues to be a beloved fast-food chain, cherished by many for its delicious burgers and...
Read moreWell if you ever been in a Whataburger you know it's nothing casual and comfortable they don't want you sitting there spending a lot of time sitting in their booth so they make them so that you have to sit up straight and all this other stuff. But the food has gotten better at this restaurant the one on White settlement road and 820. I will say they gave me extra onions when I asked for it and I've never gotten sick from Whataburger food. I would say they put way too much sauce on the patty melts and the Whataburger I'm not a nice smear would be good but this was almost swimming and my latest Whataburger. I don't get the cheese because the cheese they put on it I don't trust it and by the time I get it looks like it was squirted on rather than placed on as a solid patty. Other than that I don't have any problems with Whataburger and I don't go there that much anyway to be very critical I will say I don't like their chicken wings nuggets whatever you want to call them they're not wings yeah and they're way too coated too much coating on it to be enjoyable. I found better nuggets with the impossible nuggets that are in the frozen section of Walmart or any other store that carries them. They're made from plants and they actually taste like it's chicken You cannot believe how close they got to being a real chicken breast piece of nugget but they did it and their plants there's no animal protein anyway this is about Whataburger. The atmosphere is okay It was clean when I went in I don't use the drive-thru and I don't call ahead and I don't use the app that much except for when there's a special. I did use the specials on the app to try the wings and that's when I said well I won't be using the app anymore because I can go in there and stand and wait I don't have a problem with that. But this Whataburger has changed for the better I gave it an extra star for food this time....
Read moreIn the drive-through, I was handed over a wrong person‘s single order with a thank you come again remark, but I said no I have a pancake and a bowl order as well. The lady took the little order back and said to hold on. I had to get off and go into the establishment as soon as I checked my order immediately, the cashier went to the back and told them I was missing a bacon biscuit sandwich. A line cook by the name of, Araceli, said in Spanish, “she’s lying, I put that in there”. She didn’t know I spoke Spanish. I am very disappointed that she thought she can insult a customer by calling them a liar when she clearly didn’t see my bag before I got it. I suggested in my survey evaluation they need to review those camera footage from that morning immediately since she’s so confident I’m lying and I’m stealing a sandwich. I want you to SHOW HER where that sandwich actually went because it did not go in my bag. Its unacceptable to call customer’s a liar out loud- I don’t care if it’s in a different language, we live in Texas people speak Spanish too, not just her and her comadres at Whatburger (I say this because she ask her coworkers, “right we made that” (all in Spanish I might add)). This is a terrible employee creating this fake following calling a customer a lair and thinking I don’t...
