I was so excited to try this restaurant. Love sourdough bread and pickles! I read about them in an article and was happy I had the time to finally try them. Unfortunately, the whole order was a disaster. I placed an order online and came to pick it up. Upon pick up, the employee said they didn't have part of my order, so I could substitute for something else. That's fine, but it should be of equal value. What I was offered wasn't and was of less value. I had to ask her to check the prices. She had first said my subbed item was more than what I was originally wanting, but I knew it wasn't. She seemed a bit surprised and had to get the manager to adjust. Strike 1 - I would have paid more for an item than it actually cost. I leave, go to the park down the street and my order is missing two items. Had to call and get them to refund me and the gentleman on the phone said he just adjusted my ticket. I said "I know, but I'm missing two items." To the credit of the gentleman on the phone, he was very kind and apologetic and he did refund me. I understand things happen. Strike 2 - missing two items. I go to eat my sandwich (The Original) and open it up. It's missing the smoked cheddar cheese (photo attached). I added cream cheese, paying extra, not subbing for a different cheese. Definitely the thing that made me sigh. Cannot even get their Original sandwich correct? Strike 3 - not including ingredients that are supposed to be included (not added or subbed). Seems staff are extremely careless about the orders and are not double checking or ensuring they are reading and creating orders correctly. The atmosphere inside was dark and kind of dreary. Sourdough bread was soft, kind of doggy, oddly. Ingredients of sandwich seemed fresh though. Pickles were soggy and soft. Personally, not a fan of the oregano on the pickle, but everyone's taste is different. Disappointing experience all around. Check your orders and ensure everything is included - even the cheese in your sandwich. Drove quite a ways out to try them and it wasn't worth it.

I just moved to the area and this was one of the first spots I knew I had to try, both by popular demand, and my love for a good sandwich and soup. Our first thought when walking in was how cozy the environment was, and it’s perfectly suited for a calm lunch with a baby in tow. Initially we were a bit off-put by the price of our order (two sandwiches, a craft bev and a regular coffee) and I could see the panic in my husband’s eyes after we overspent across several days of moving and getting settled. When our food arrived, we both decided that it was well worth it, as the sandwiches, crafted with care, were absolutely loaded with flavor! Panera, who?! Even the spinach on my sandwich (The Chandler) had perfect flavor! The bacon was done just right! Every layer and ingredient held its integrity and combined to make the perfect sandwich for both of our tastes. He loved the Roast Beef! I was very pleased to discover that I can even come here solo with baby, because they were thoughtful enough to create an inclusive space for kids, as well as changing tables, board games, and a cozy fireplace. Everything was so clean and the staff was very accommodating. Thank you for a great lunch, we’ll definitely be back soon!

I arrived and stood in line at the new place right next to their old place, and checked out the menu and decided to get a bowl of tomato soup with two slices of the rosemary garlic bread. I came up to the line I made my order. The people were very lovely and helped me get my order. I was given a number and I went to sit down. After that about five minutes later, a lovely girl came up and asked what my order was I kindly repeated to her what I had ordered. Then another lady came up and apologized for the other lady asking my order. Then the lady, the first lady came back and said they were out of tomato basil Could I possibly be interested in there? Broccoli cheese soup I said I did not care for broccoli cheese soup, but I would go ahead and try theirs. She also very kindly said that I could be refunded for my lunch. I said well I’m already here I might as well go ahead and eat. The broccoli basil was brought out with two slices of rosemary, garlic bread. It was all very, very lovely. Next time. I think I will try their sandwich. They had a lovely vegetarian sandwich that looked very, very yummy as I always say support your local businesses there was a lot of really great options on this menu.

NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS BUSINESS!!! Came here last week! Worst place to ever spend money at. Everything is overpriced...They hire underage kids and take advantage of them. One employee even said their checks are always at least a week late and on top of that checks sometimes bounce and that their boss never pays for the returned check fees. Last I checked it is illegal for businesses to issue a bad check.....Atmosphere is so sad and dark. No one is happy to be there...on top of that all these kids have no clue what they are doing. It's like they applied got the job and got put to work basically trying to figure out everything on their own. Food takes too long and it is just messy like they rushed it just to say it made it to the table. The woman bossing people around and speaking to other customers with a nasty attitude which Im assuming is the manager walks around with white flakes all over her shirt which is not very sanitary at all because imagine that going to your food when they serve it or your drinks. This place needs a hard reality check because it clearly isn't giving good service or good food!!! Im so sad to even have wasted money on this place!!! I would rather go somewhere else for a cold sandwich and coffee. There are alot of other coffee shops and bakeries that deserve the support..which is also cheaper and taste better with amazing...

The Sour Boule is a cute place with a selection of breads, bagels, pastries and more. I was excited to try this place out, and when we arrived it seemed like no one was interested in helping us. I stood as the front worker stocked the cookies back up instead of helping me. It was a little akward to say the least and eventually someone else came and helped us. We ordered some bagels, which didnt have the texture of a boiled bagel, but the flavor was great. I'd consider them more bagel-like. Still not bad.

Then i waited for two baked items that were in the case...and waited and waited. Then i asked once someone else was given their goods before me that arrived later if we could get our pastries. They forgot about us. This was my second time here and both times just waiting for them to finish whatever tasks theyre doing to be served.

Now lets move on the the pastries. The sprinkle cookie i gave to my son and he immediately spit it out thinking it was rancid. I tried a bite and did the same. It tasted like a heavy taste of clove or licorice in the cookie. It wasn't crunchy or soft, kind of like if you let a cookie set out over night that was once soft. The scone tasted wet and not cooked long enough. almost like a biscuit that was in a moist baggie for a few hours.

The bagel bread was good, but i wouldn't drive more than 5 mins to...
