At 750 am 11/14 we stopped and went inside to order 2 drinks. One hot, one frappe. The young lady taking our oder was professional yet didn't take our name. Found out this was not an isolated occurance. My mom's frappe came up w/in 10 mins. I asked the young lady about my hot latte after another 5 mins passed. She explained it was a shift change and they were running about 15 mins behind. At 815 the other young lady working told a new customer walking in it was a 30 min wait. The young man next to me told me he'd been there 30 mins already. Another customer told me it wasn't 30 mins, but 45 mins. I went to the cashier and requested my money back for the hot drink, she pleasantly refunded my money. The workers were professional, no complaint there. However, I found out from my husband there was 15 + cars in drivethru when we went inside and they completed all their orders before I came out. The lobby had approx 10 people inside when we entered at 750. At 820 I counted 20+. I will not go back to this location due to their lack of organization. Having 2 barristas making drinks for this location is idiotic. You need at least 4 for this level of customer traffic. I overheard one employee saying a planned renovation had been canceled by the head office. Whoever canceled the renovation has made a huge mistake. If a company is going to handle online orders, drive thru d lobby traffic they should staff...

And as I started to head home I took a drink of my cold brew and I felt something weird in my mouth and I pulled it out and looked at it. It was a dead fly in my drink!! I immediately turned around and went back thru the drive thru and told them that I just went thru the drive thru, what I purchased had a dead fly (bug) in my drink and that it went into my mouth. They told me to please pull around when I got up to the window a young man was there not the girl who rang me up. He apologized to me and handed me a new drink and a 4.00 off gift card on my next order. That was really disgusting They could have givin me my money back for my drink that I originally ordered and maybe a 10.00 gift card to cover my next drink. I have been going to this Starbucks for quite some time now and never have had this happen. Hopefully this doesn't happen again cause I love my Vanilla Sweetcream Cold Brews with cokd foam on the top. Wish I could add the photo of the bug that was in my drink...

I ordered online and ahead to be considerate, and when I arrived, she said, "Tanya, your order is ready, pull around, love." As I came around the bend, I saw my food and drink outside the window, and I chose not to say anything, but I could sense a rush to get me on my way. I expressed gratitude and asked if I could please have a pup cup. The response was unexpected, as if I had requested something that was not possible. She quickly handed me a cup full of foam and said, "Next time, ask for a pup cup at the box." The lady behind her seemed embarrassed by her behavior. This experience was a reminder that we never know what someone is going through, and a simple act of kindness can make a profound difference. It doesn't take much to be kind and do the job we signed up to do love, and it's a powerful reminder to always choose kindness...
