First Watch — Restaurant in Frankfort

It’s so exciting to have a First Watch in Frankfort! The new location looks fantastic – the outside is modern and fresh, and the inside feels warm and welcoming. They even have a really cool mural that says “Frankfort,” which is such a nice touch.

We stopped by for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and were blown away by how generous they were, donating $3,000 to Western Hills High School. The high school band played, and they sounded amazing – it was a great way to kick things off.

As for the food, it’s exactly what you’d hope for from First Watch – fresh and flavorful. My go-to dishes are the AM Superfoods Bowl and the Breakfast Tacos, and you’ve got to try the Kale Tonic – it’s so refreshing. The team was super friendly and made the whole experience even better.

First Watch is a new chain restaurant in Frankfort, Ky. We arrived around 1:30 in the afternoon (non busy time) only two tables full in restaurant. Nice atmosphere and decor. We were immediately offered a carafe of coffee, however coffee was not fresh. Server graciously brought a new carafe which was fine. Waited a while to receive water. 1st order monterey club and cobb salad which was fresh and a good lunch option. 2nd order superfood kale salad which was ok, the kale and assorted greens, sliced almonds, sliced chicken very good. However, I did not care for the ultra sweetened dried cranberries or the carrots which to me did not compliment the salad. The veggie sandwich was excellent, freshly prepared vegetables and melted cheese was a stand out...

I've only ordered from First Watch using Uber Eats. The food was fantastic but I thought was a little pricey. Fast forward to this morning & I wanted to order from them again. Only I discovered that the location in Georgetown was going to be prepping my food. I was not going to make someone drive from Georgetown to my city when we have one.

I had to Google First Watch and go through the website to order. And... discovered that the delivery fee was going to be $19.99 to deliver to me. Seriously??? $19.99 to deliver from maybe 3 miles? That's a rip-off.

While I thoroughly enjoy First Watch, I will no longer be ordering from there and I highly recommend others really pay attention to the fees...
