Staples — Local services in Franklin

In a time when most people are buying things online and particularly me who has been buying ink cartridges online, Staples just won my business back for ink.

Recently I bought a new printer from Staples and the Brother printer comes with a very small 500 pages B@W cartridge.

That being said I went out and bought replacement ink and I thought I got the right replacement but when I got it home it was the wrong one

Opened it up it wouldn't fit--Bummer -- Back to the store I go.

Typical frustration but here is the good news ...I took it back to Staples and they took it back and helped me get the right one. I was very impressed with the service. Try that on Amazon.

Memphis, the young man that helped me went an extra mile to make sure the cartridge that I got for the MFC all-in-one laser printer was absolutely correct and he assured me that from time to time the confusion Is not unusual.

In an era of Internet buying it's nice to talk to people and have the exchange done so smoothly I didn't wait in the store Memphis saw me come through and realized that the print cartridges that I purchased were wrong.

I was in and out super fast and I decided to pick up some paper while I was there.

I recently went in to have my computer tuned up, virus removed and wasn't expecting it to go well. I bought one of the expensive packages a year ago to cover anything that went wrong with my laptop and at times it felt like it was at Staples more often than my own home. I would take it in hoping it to be there for a short amount of time but that was never the case util recently. The new Manager Chris is a breath of fresh air and he is the reason I will continue to give him my business. He has a solid team now with Zack and a young lady supervisor whom I can't recall her name, who are always willing to go above and beyond for the customer. Let's get back to Chris personal time to review my concerns and fix it while I watched making sure I saw the issues I needed to avoid. I have not had such good service since they lost Dawn so things are most definitely looking up. Some fun times shopping for school! Was greeted pleasantly and asked if I needed help and told the salesperson, no problem wandering in and about. Smiles and into the fun of school supplies as a teacher. Found what I was looking for some reams of paper on sale and a low cost scientific calculator to show to my students next week for a minimum for chemistry. As I was in the back stacks a salesperson asked if I needed help and since I was wearing my teacher badge asked if I was a teacher (YES). "Oh we have a gift for you from Staples" he went and got it. A small folio notebook with a pen and a card with a $5 gift card extra....nice! Used it at the front to cover an extra 16GB USB memory stick, you never know when you need one! Lots of supplies for parents, students and the occasional grandparents...
