Macy's — Local services in Frazer Township

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize an employee at your Pittsburgh Mills location in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. sadly I forgot to do the survey for her when I received it and it is now too late however I think leaving this for the public to see is the best thing that I can do and hopefully your organization will pass this along to you and your leadership. On February 25 of 2022 I came to the store looking for a coat that I had been working to find for a very long time. The Clinique counter manager: Bleu Cullin spent at least an hour and a half with me trying to help me locate the right size for the coat that I was interested in, after we looked through the entire store we could not locate the size that the computer was saying was in stock. But she did not give up and did not surrender to the system she said let’s take a look at some other stores and see what we can find. After taking a look at the computer she found that there was a size located at another store but company policy wouldn’t allow them to hold it unless they had a Macy’s charge card, unfortunately I did not have a charge card through Macy’s at that moment but I told her because of how much she worked to find me the right size and went above and beyond to work with not only the other store but the credit card company as well that I would make sure that she got the credit for the sale along with the credit for opening a charge. Having worked in the same industry as her myself I understood the importance of making sure that those numbers reflected. She however was more concerned with getting me what I needed and that shows me that she he’s probably more dedicated than I was when I was in the retail industry and it showed me that there are people that care about their jobs in the world and the people that they help. We also celebrated a little because it was her birthday and I thought that was probably the best gift that she ever got was a little bit of a Sinatra by Marilyn Monroe. Thank you again Bleu for all of your hard work and effort hopefully your leadership forwards this to you. Keep dancing...

#Save Our Starving Malls DID EVERYONE REALIZE THAT IF YOU SHOP MACY'S WITH ANY KNOWLEDGE OF SALES AND OR COUPONS...YOU CAN GET BRAND NEW MERCHANDISE FOR LESS THAN YOUR NEAR BYE SECOND HAND STORE?!? AND IT'S BRAND NEW! This store is GORGEOUS. The Merchandising is done very well. Ppl need to start buying in store instead of just RETURNING all their online purchases there. Many ppl don't realize that every time you buy on line&return in a store, your taking the goal for that in particular store DOWN. It DOESN'T come off the "online stores goal"...your killing off your local store every time you bring a return in that got sent to your home. That goes for 99%of stores. That is what killed Victoria secret, best buy, new yorky company, Justice, &the list goes on. I will never understand the fascination w/shopping on the toilet for example. "Retail therapy" is very good for your mental state&the stores you love but want to remain OPEN. Many times the store even offers "free returns if sent thru the mail"& it is as simple as throwing a huge sticker on the box&dropping it off at staples (for ups) or Walgreen's (for FedEx). Then your not killing the stores you love. Everyone complains that all the stores closed around you...but almost every person that said that very compliant, partook in the closing of their favorite stores dying. So think next time you bring an online purchase to a store just to make a return...your taking their goal away for the business of that particular location away with every dollar you return...just bc you dont want to mail it back...and the mailman, FedEx, &ups ppl do all the leg work for that...its not even you. Start buying at these locations before we have nothing. It would be a very sad world with no Macy's. That store has held famous parades yearly & had fabulous products to make us fashionable...

Hopefully, Pittsburgh Mills won't lose this large anchor store. Since closing many others. I think now they have free shipping/returns available. Some parts of the ladies dept. looks like the Ross Store now though. With all the racks of marked down clothing. If looking for something in particular you may find it here easily in the well displayed area of new arrivals. Usually July is the month mark downs will start when you can still find your size. Last time I was here I noticed they suspended use of the ladies restroom near the changing rooms. So now one must travel near the men's dept. to use the restrooms. Several times while trying on clothing a visit to the ladies room was needed, so across the floor you go. What I found was that adult men were outside of the restrooms every time I visited. I don't have children, but I would feel uneasy if I knew someone was sending their kids alone to use the restroom under those circumstances. As we all know child abduction is rampant everywhere.
