December 24th the first thing I did when I got up was go shopping at Bosco, I tried to find what I was looking for as quickly as I could, I went to the checkout to pay and a cashier named Regina greeted me with an angry gesture, she said to me how can I help you through her teeth, I took out a gift card and I told her I'm going to pay with this card but I don't know how much it is worth, she told me to proceed to swipe it through the machine and it gave an error, she asked me, (are you sure you have money?) and I replied that I should have some, she made a call on the phone while making bad faces with her face and rolling her eyes, she took my card and literally threw it against the counter and told me it's no good, seeing her in a bad mood I deduced that it was not her day so I did not say a word, I took my gift card embarrassed and gave her a 100 dollar bill, at that moment her manager arrived and told her it's already solved, making bad faces, the very kind lady said it doesn't matter we can make a refund so she could use her card she started laughing making fun of her boss and they ended up arguing another customer who was there apologized to me even though I am Hispanic Latina. She told me I apologize for her you shouldn't go through this on Christmas Eve to which I replied calmly it's not your fault I spent almost an hour in the store because they had to close the register and count it to see if it was accurate, what was going to be a quick purchase turned into a very bad experience my Christmas started very badly they should have people who like their jobs and not people who only want to cash a check people who respect their bosses and customers too I had never felt that way in any store like on Christmas Eve I hope I never go through a scene...
Read moreWent to Boscovs today, browsing perfumes for me to buy tomorrow when i get paid. I was with my boyfriend and we were smelling many perfumes. (We weren’t causing a disturbance or making a mess) and we were there for a while because we’re picky in our scents. This lady in maybe her 50’s to 60’s, white, blonde said very rudely “ are you going to buy something?” And not today but possibly tomorrow but from this experience, I am NOT coming back again because it gets worse. I say maybe and then a little later (maybe a minute after) my boyfriend comes over asking me about some perfumes I tried and he has been testing them on himself since there weren’t many testers. She comes around and tells us we can’t just be smelling smell after smell because we wont get an accurate smell. I do not care. I still enjoy smelling them, let me live?!?. Then she tells my boyfriend, quote unquote “ you have tried too many, you REEK.” And my boyfriend was obviously upset by this. She then follows it with “you guys keep making messes” yet we haven’t left anything around and she says “i have to keep re-cleaning the counters” yet 1. No we weren’t, he was spraying on himself to test and i was spraying on testers away from the counter for that reason, 2. We only sprayed half sprays, once, per bottle. 3. It is just perfume, 4. She was only cleaning one island of perfume we weren’t even near the entire time until the interaction. 5. She could have waited till we left since its a dead store anyways. Horrible experience, rude workers, and truly just...
Read moreMy grandmother loves to shop here and have had no previous negative experiences until today. For mother's day; my mom, my grandmother and I came here to buy my grandmother a new outfit. We started out in the misses department and ended in the shoe department. We spent maybe an hour here searching for a cute outfit for my 81yr old grandmother that was also flattering. The problem came towards the end of our trip. My grandmother was looking at shoes and my mother and I were looking at the formal dresses just across the aisle when behind me I hear an old woman who works for the store communicating our location to other staff members saying "one is in dresses the other shoes" as if we were going to steal something? Like seriously? I turned around and saw her staring straight at me, I knew she was profiling me. I came in with no purse or bag of any kind (my phone is my bank card). And on top of it I was wearing a dress I bought from Old Navy so where the hell would I put anything? Seriously! I had nothing in my hands other than my phone (again, my bank card) and you're going to discriminate against me because I'm looking at formal dresses while covered in tattoos? No thanks. Needless to say while my mother still purchased my grandmother's Mother's Day outfit, I did not and will not ever give them a single dime of my money ever again. If I came in with a big purse or a backpack, I'd completely understand but I did not. No reason other than an old woman "set in...
