If you are "White" and you appear to have money then this is your store. The employees that work in this shop are the most snobbiest people I have ever encountered. My husband and daughter came into the store today and immediately the employees were eyeing my husband and daughter who are "Latino" and "Latina", like they were thinking "You don't have enough money to shop here." I came in a little after my husband and daughter and I was looking around and the employees were friendly and were helping me until they noticed I was with my husband and daughter and then their whole demeanor changed toward me. I like to point out that I am "White". The employees were very cold, unfriendly, treated me with disdain, and seemed appalled that my husband, daughter, and I were together. The employees started following all three of us around their store. I had plan on buying a Brighton purse however, after the treatment my family and I received from this store we will never return to this store. I went into the store with 3 girlfriends on 7/25/2024. We looked around for several minutes. My girlfriend and I tried on several bracelets. She bought a bracelet and a pair of earrings. We all then left the store. After walking several feet away from the store; then the salesperson followed us and asked me, where was the bracelet I tried on. I told her in the store. I showed her my personal bracelet I was wearing. I went back in the store and showed her the bracelet on the jewelry bar. I left the store without any kind of apology. There is a racial discrimination problem with your employee. I am African American, 2 friends with me were White and they were not approached. I am highly insulated that because she did not see the bracelet ( which was there) she assumed that I took it. I noticed other reviews indicate racial incidents. The employee needs to be fired. I just finished shopping today at this store. Disappointed in one of the staff!!! Was interested in the very pretty petal soap blossom. The blonde/white older clerk pointed to the left. The left meant the product was high up on a shelf... .unreachable. I've worked in retail and was very disappointed the clerk did not take me to the soap and pull it down for me. After she pulled the soap flower down (at my insistence) she was nonchalant about the sale, walking away never offering to further assist me! The owner/ manager should not assume an older clerk is a good fit for retail. I now have doubts about coming back because of this unprofessional uninterested clerk!!!
