The initial place I was going to buy an engagement ring had a mishap 5 days before I was going to propose. It was midnight on a Sunday and looked online again for jewelry stores and this store showed in the results for the first time (they just opened the previous week). I went there at 10 am Monday morning and this is when the ‘magic’ happened :-)

OK, first off the address is 11 and that is my favorite number. The color of their door is blue. Blue is my fiancé’s favorite color. I showed them a picture of the custom ring I ordered. One of the owners told me they just finalize an estate sale and had a ring that looked similar. I told them I had to head out of town and asked to send me pictures. They called down to their Annapolis location and had them take pictures of a hand model wearing the ring and sent them to me a few hours later. The ring was better! I picked it up that Thursday and proposed on Friday! I was the first person to buy an engagement ring at that location :-) I purchased her band there yesterday.

Wanted to give a new local business a chance, couldn't regret it more. Went in to get my ring sized and after the initial two week estimate, it wasn't done, ok there was some kind of emergency I can sympathize I'll wait another two weeks. Still wasn't done, another two weeks go by, the ring is sent to another jeweler they contract out to? ok fine.

Another week, and the ring was sized incorrectly. At this point I have waited six weeks, they say they'll put in a rush order to get it back to me next week. Didn't get it back till three weeks later and it's still not perfect. There's a nick on the bottom that "only I'll notice" not what you expect to hear from professional jewelers.

The total process took 9 weeks to complete. The worst part was the communication throughout this process as it was little to nonexistent; I would go weeks without hearing an update and always had to call them for any new information. I felt that my ring and I were not given the treatment we deserved. Really regret spending any money at all here.

What a wonderful experience. I happened to be walking by when I stopped in to see if they could help my old back onyx ring. The stone had dulled over the years, and the white gold was just as bad.
