EDIT: The owner reached out to me, scheduled a technician to come out, and brought me replacements for both the washer and dryer! He apologized about the way I was treated and agreed that this was unacceptable. Great guy for reaching out and making this right. I will definitely continue to shop here in the future.
Spent 500 bucks on a GE Washer and dryer, top load. Got home, an hour away, plugged the dryer in and it didn't work. Called and complained and they told me I could bring it all the way back to have it fixed and that was my only option. I investigated the issue myself and found the start button to be bad. Fixed that, hooked up the washer, and discovered that the hot water doesn't work. Ran an empty load with cold water before I tried to wash clothes, and you wouldn't believe the nasty gunk in the tub after only 5 min of washing (picture attached) I have several other appliances I will be shopping for in the near future and it definitely won't be from here. It's ridiculous to have to drive 2 hours round trip, plus possibly having to leave it behind to get repaired and then have to come back again to pick up items that you just purchased. You would think these things would be thoroughly cleaned and tested before sold but they obviously are not.
UPDATE: the second wash in and the machine will not fill up with water. Fills for 5 seconds then stops. When you open then close the top it will fill for an additional 5 seconds then stop. Filled manually so i could finish this load and then discover it also doesnt spin, so now my bedding is wet and cant dry it. This all should have been discovered if the items were actually tested...
Read moreCompany accepted an online order for a product they didn't have, called me the next day trying to get me to accept a product I didn't order. I told them no repeatedly and was eventually told I would get a refund. Got a call from the manager the next day again trying to get me to take a product I didn't order instead of what I actually ordered. Again told him no and that they needed to refund my money if they didn't have what I ordered. First the guy said I had to file a fraudulent claim for the order and that he couldn't just give me a refund. When I was insistent that he do it the proper way and refund my card he then tried to get me to come in person and pick up cash. When I told him no I wanted it refunded to my card he then offered to write me a check. When I insisted further that he refund my card he said fine hung up the phone and 30 seconds later I had an email saying my card had been refunded. Only problem is they never actually refunded my card, just sent me an email saying they did. Waited a full week and called again, spoke to someone else who assured me it must have been a mistake. Said he would call me back the next day when he figured out what happened. Called me back the next day and assured me it would get fixed and that he would call the bank. Fast forward another two weeks still haven't been refunded and now he's getting his way because I really do have to file a dispute on my credit card. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with these crooks and just go to a reputable big box store. They have scratch and dent models for similar prices......without the taste of money...
Read moreMy husband and I purchased an upright freezer for my breastmilk stash about two weeks ago. After getting it home, we let it sit for about two days to let the freon settle and so we had a chance to clean it well. After plugging it in, we discovered it wasn't cooling properly and I had found that a large portion of my breastmilk was partially defrosted. We called immediately and expressed the urgency in which it needed to be corrected. They sent a technician out within 40 minutes. The man was here on a Saturday for 4 hours, adding new coils to the back of the unit. Two days later, it still wasn't functioning correctly, so again we called and someone was at our house within 20 minutes. It now works perfectly! Frustrating situation, yes, but I can not be happier with the service received. Anyone who has a breastmilk supply can understand how scary it can be to lose your whole stash. I will definitely purchase appliances through this company again, knowing they uphold their warranty, no questions asked. Thank you for saving my babies stash before she begins...
