This international supermarket appears to be family-owned—you can often see family members working hard throughout the store. While that’s admirable, there are several issues in the daily operations that make me wonder if the owners are fully aware. The store carries an exciting variety of international products, but many items are either missing prices or, worse, outdated. When I asked a staff member about unpriced items, I was told to bring each one to the register so the cashier could tell me the price—not exactly convenient. Outdated products also remain on the shelves, which is concerning. Organization is another problem. Condiments, drinks, and imported products are scattered randomly, making shopping confusing. The produce section is often neglected, with poor restocking and incorrect or missing prices. The meat department is the biggest frustration. My family buys meat here weekly, and every visit means long waits—30 minutes just to place an order, another 15 minutes to receive it. Prices are inconsistent and seem to depend on which butcher you get—sometimes lower, but more often higher. Customers need to be very cautious about the meat pricing. We genuinely like this store and want to support local family businesses. But unless these issues are addressed—pricing, organization, produce, and especially the meat department—we may be forced to shop elsewhere. With the right improvements, this store has the...
Read moreI recently visited Finest Supermarket, and was thoroughly impressed with the variety and quality of their products. As someone who appreciates authentic Afghan products, finding a store that offers a wide range of traditional groceries was a delightful experience.
The selection of Halal meat was particularly impressive. The freshness and quality were evident, and it’s clear that Finest Supermarket takes great care in sourcing their products. The butchers were knowledgeable and helpful, making sure I got exactly what I needed.
The store also carries a vast array of spices, grains, and specialty items that are essential for Afghan cooking. I found everything from saffron to green raisins, and the prices were very reasonable.
Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. They were eager to help and offered great suggestions on products I wasn’t familiar with. The clean and well-organized layout of the store made my shopping experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this store is a fantastic resource for anyone looking for high-quality Afghan groceries and Halal products. I highly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreWas at file mile international looking for some fresh tumeric and tamarind when a customer mentioned an Indian grocery store that had recently opened up. This is not an Indian grocery store, and they did not have fresh tumeric and tamarind but ... I bought a loaf of the best tasting bread, it was round, warm and delicious. Wandered around the store, what a delight! Spoke with several employees, one of which mentioned they might be offering some to-go food type options soon, I cant wait! I will be stopping by weekly for their fresh bread and counting down the minutes until I can get some wonderful middle eastern cuisine (since alladins down the way decided to move to the other side of the county and wants to highlight western bar food instead of their delicious middle eastern delights). We are lucky, in this area, that so many unique offerings are...
