Everything was going well my son an I returned to our seats where my dad was sitting an or bill was already at the table. As we went to sit down I had to wait for the lady to move here broom and dustpan out of the way I am disabled and I walk with a limp she shouldn't have set it in the middle of the floor it was a trip hazard in the first place... I let it go she moved it... Then we sat she comes running to the table and grabbed our bill fast I asked what she was doing she said because my son grabbed mind you four craw fish and a half of a crab. She had to charge full dinner price as I tried to talk to her she left then she had our waiter deliver the new receipt. A whole ten dollars extra for one small plate of food... Then I saw her I asked to speak to her she rudely told me to speak to my waiter if I had a question I told her I wanted to speak to a manager because my son didn't eat but that little bit and he didn't know she came to the table saying that there's signs well let me tell you something I get upset yes I did my son has a learning disability lady and some adults can't read as my son she still fought with me.. the table beside us which could have minded there own business I'm just a mom standing up for her child and if the shoe was on the other foot I would hope you have the same attitude to fight for your child or even a adult if they have a disability.. and don't act like you never yelled or cursed I looked at your child she was fine like she was used to it but I did what you asked but before you say down with your family mine was trying to do the same thing and I'm a momma bear and I have the right to stand up for my child or anyone else who suffers from a learning disability so sir you and the Chinese buffet should be ashamed of yourself.... Now back to the lady Amy I went to the front where the cash register was still not getting through to her she didn't understand that my son could not read so I pulled out his IEP and showed it to her mind you again one plate four crawl fish and one half crab and they charged full price meal for adult he's twelve she said she didn't know the manager I asked another lady she didn't know the manager but you work there so I'm being lied to on top of it... I should have called the police like she told me to because my son has rights .. and everyone else who has a disability like that has rights don't judge a book just because of the outside and you as a company should be ashamed of yourself to be that money hungry.... And you lie as if you don't know where your check is...
Read moreAn incident happened this afternoon that made me realize the real character of a certain race of people - the Chinese. My wife and I come from an Indian background and decided to feed our empty stomachs at this establishment and we were very hungry, off work, today being Easter Sunday. This was our second time at this location and we were both taking turns to go get our favorite items, one at a time, while the other one sat at the table. When my wife had gone to get her food, I caught a male manager hovering around our table and looking at my wife's purse (tote bag). When she returned, he came over and asked her he wanted to look inside the bag, accusing her of stealing food and putting the food inside the bag because "you are sitting in a booth where we do not have cameras". The only explanation we could logically comprehend is that the India-China border wars are definitely spread beyond geographical boundaries and ingrained into the hearts and minds of these so-called fellow Americans.
During the course of our dining experience, I noticed the same manager going to another table seating a group of four men, and literally placing shrimps onto their plates from a tray, while there were no shrimps available at the station when I had gone to get some two times.
Also, I noticed many of the plates that were being cleared were only half eaten. Clearly a waste of food.
Coming from the hospitality industry myself, the basics of any food place is to provide exceptional customer service and that comes through in customer interaction and service, which is seriously lacking in this place. I have read some of the reviews people have written and, no amount of decor, koi pond vibes, or anime servers can excuse an incompetent team of waitresses and an equally incompetent manager, accusing their patrons of stealing food without proof.
Needless to say, we shall not be returning but someone had to write this review and it really did...
Read morePrior to visiting this establishment, I regret not having reviewed the customer feedback. My family and I dined there on a Saturday evening, as advertised for seafood on weekends. Upon approaching the bar to order seafood, we were informed that it was unavailable due to previous consumption and a first come first serve. Customers being rude and selfish caring about themselves only. Emptying dishes on the bar. We patiently waited for over 30 minutes for restocking, but unfortunately, the bar remained empty. Consequently, my family and I departed from our seats, approached the cashier, and expressed our disappointment. We were paying for seafood but not available. We requested a discount due to the lack of seafood. The young cashier declined to offer a discount. Our bill was $78.00, minding you at an all you can eat buffet for three people. The cashier offered an eight-dollar discount, but I declined, stating that I was not willing to pay such a high amount. He then contacted the police, hoping to deter us from returning. However, I remained patient and waited for their arrival. While this incident caused inconvenience for both my family and the establishment, it serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of customer service and the consequences of misleading and disrespectful behavior. The cashier’s reaction, as if we were complaining due to financial constraints, was unacceptable and money was not a concern. It is unfortunate that I had to waste my money on a place that fails to provide a satisfactory dining experience. I will never return to this establishment, as it is not worth the risk. Instead, I recommend choosing a more reputable restaurant that offers quality food and a comfortable atmosphere, while also being mindful of your...
