Not a great experience. I ordered through their website for pickup which directed me to toast tab. I ordered Jerk Chicken w/ coco bread, a mild beef patty, and a kiwi aloe. At 1:30 in the afternoon they did not have any of their entrees, including the jerk chicken. Now, neither their menu nor toast tab says that items are only available at certain times. Nobody said that the entrees are only available at dinner, but I suspect that might be the case. Regardless, the app allowed me to order. The attendant at the window was very sweet and tried, but did not know how to process a refund and he was by himself. I waited for a while as he was on the phone with customer service for toast tab, but then eventually he offered me multiple patties to compensate. That's when I also found out they didn't have the mild patty that I ordered, they didn't have the chicken patty, so instead I had to get spicy beef and I got one spinach. For the price that I paid, I did not expect to walk away with only one of the three items that I ordered, and a bunch of patties that I can obtain at a grocery store. I'm traveling in the area, and I understand that they're new, but having an accurate ordering system in place, fully stocked menu items (one or two is one thing, but not over half your menu), and proper training for employees to do something as simple as a refund is so important. Disappointing. *Edited in response: Sir, You were on the phone with your employee the whole time I was there this afternoon. I already listed the time I was there if you really read my review. Second, while I admit that the spinach patty was not something I can find at a grocery store here locally, and the beef patties most certainly are. I've eaten Jamaican my entire adult life. I didn't expect a five-star restaurant by any means, and I'm happy with a simple patty. What I'm not happy with is over half your menu items missing, it not being reflected in your online ordering system, and the inability to receive a refund. And with all due respect, if your employee was trained in how to give a refund, he'd have been...
Read moreI’ve been a multiple times now and I’d say it can be great or just okay. The number one problem is the consistency of how well the food is.
My wife and I’s first time, the food was spectacular. Jerk Chicken Sandwich, beef and cheese patty, spinach and cheese patty, and an order of coco bread. Smoothies were great too! We thought we found our new place! In the times to come, the inconsistencies and inconveniences started to pop up.
Patties we wanted would take 30 minutes because they’re in the oven. I get it, you have to cook ‘em, but from my POV, I don’t have that time to wait if this is considered fast food. The sandwiches were consistently made with different bread, tastes good but it’s not like the first time. The coco bread was also different than the first time we had it. Maybe it’s the brand or how it’s being cooked but it’s just off.
Overall, a decent place but because of how different it can be every time I go, it’ll be a stop I make much fewer and...
Read moreSo excited to see a new food option in the area. Doubly excited as it was Caribbean offerings. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. Many items we asked for were not available. So much so, the server thought it important to let us know what they did have available. We ordered patties and smoothies. The smoothies were very good. The patties did not have the nice firm flaky crust. In fact, they were very soft in texture. We also ordered dessert, which I am not able to review as it was not given to us as ordered and paid for. In fact, we specifically asked if the dessert was in the bag to which the server responded that it was. His response was so curt with undertones of annoyance, I actually felt bad for asking; until we got home and it wasn’t...
