Wish I could post minus 0 stars. Tonight 3 adults one child ate at this ALL YOU CAN EAT place. The manager that's there had always been talkative and friendly in the past. Tonight he was NASTY. We have been going to this place for years even when it was owned by other restaurants. Tonight as we were eating we were getting MEAN stalking LOOKS from the manager who was watching us like a hawk. He was watching us because 3 of us at the table were trying to eat some of the hard shell crabs that they only bought out a dozen at a time and the time was close to 20 mins before they would bring more out. Two adults and one child at our table got 3 each along with other items from the bars. Between the 3 of us we had about 13 crabs 2 was no go tasted like maybe they died before being cooked. The resturant was packed with people coming in to eat ALL YOU CAN EAT just like us. There were others who wanted crabs also but the quanty of crabs brought out was not enough for the demand of people for ALL YOU CAN EAT weather it was for crabs, shrimp or other items on the bars. After the manager had displayed his Nasty attitude at us the waitress was told by him not to clean our table or wait on us any more plates started to pile up and no room to eat. We had to actually move the plates to another table our self to have room. When it was time for the bill the waitress actually dropped it on table and took off. When we looked at the bill the manager had added a tip amount on the bill. (never in the past has that been done before) We got up and checked the other tickets on the counter not one had a tip added but ours. (wish I could post pick of bill don't know how will try to post later) We went to the counter where you pay and manager was there I asked him why is tip added to our bill and no one else's. His reply was I can show you one. I told him I see 4 that are not and I told him if you do for one you need to do for all, he replied I can take it off if you want. HE was told to take it off but he still charged it anyway at his discretion on my son's card. When I told my son who payed what the manager had done he didn't want to go back in he wanted to leave because of the way we were treated by the manager and staff tonight. NASTY NASTY NASTY NASTY...
Read moreThis has always been one of my favorite restaurants. We haven't been as much since our favorite Hibachi cook left as he had so much personality and knew exactly how we liked our stir fry. However, I was so looking forward to their great fresh vegetables which they cook in front of you on their grill. They have a good variety and great flavorings. You can add chicken, beef or shrimp if you like and an egg.
However, Monday night we went in and gave our food to the cook - who showed no interest in even returning a friendly greeting. OK, not everyone can be like Florentino. But as soon as our food was on the grill, he immediately hid behind the counter, kneeled down and started lacing up his shoe. I could see this unmistakeable action in the reflection in the glass on the refrigerator. After a couple minutes I went to find the manager. When he stood up to rescue our overcooked eggs and vegetables, my husband asked him to wash his hands. He ignored the request and began stirring our food. About then I arrived back with the manager who just asked us if we wanted him to start over with new food. There was another worker not that far away making sushi. He ignored the whole thing which makes me think this type of dangerous restaurant food handling is the norm. We walked out and never intend to return. I had never seen so few cars in the parking lot. Read moreRESPONSE TO OWNER: You "addressed concerns" over the counter by grinning when we complained. Have you read the other complaints on this site? We're not the only ones complaining about the same issues. I firmly believe you are cooking dead crabs, which anyone who knows anything at all about crabs knows, will make you EXTREMELY sick. I think the HEALTH DEPARTMENT needs to come in and take a look around at your restaurant. Maybe that will be my call first thing tomorrow morning.
Used to look forward to stopping here whenever we got back in the area and would actually go out of our way to do so. It was not good in April when we were through but thought we would give it another try today. We wont make the mistake again. The crabs were HORRIBLE. Absolutely no taste to the tiny bit of meat in each one. A lot of them smelled and were black inside. The whole shrimp were cooked so long you couldn't get the shells off. The cold shrimp were undercooked and completely bland...no taste whatsoever. My daughter got steak in her hibachi and it was so overcooked it was inedible. The egg drop soup had a burnt taste.
The waitress was ok until we wanted fresh drinks because ours were watered down. After that she had an attitude.
