Been going to this store for years and never had a bad experience. They do usually stare a lot but itâs understandable because of theft. But what happened today was not okay. Today we went in looking at jewelry and my friend tried a ring on and accidentally left it on. Minutes before leaving she took it off and gave it to me to put back all while in front of a worker. We left to go to a cafe all the way down the street and for the entire walk that worker followed us and INTO the cafe, stared at us for a few minutes, and then confronted us. We felt really uncomfortable the whole time we were in the store and while she was following us. We didnât realize it was her at first. Unprofessional going into business that is not hers just to confront us. I understand people steal in latitudes all the time but it does not give workers the right to follow customers down the street with no evidence of stealing. I wish they would check the cameras first. Next time confront in your own store or right outside of your store. We feel uncomfortable going back now even though we love the store and have made many purchases...
Read moreThis is a nice store and the only reason Iâm giving it a 3 instead of a 5 is because I thought the lady at the cash register was quite rude. I purchased some chopsticks that are rather decorative looking, so I asked her if you could actually use them or if they are just for decoration. She treated me like I was an idiot saying âthey are chop sticks, you eat with themâ. My husband is half Asian so I think I know what chopsticks are. I donât like buying things that I canât actually use and sit on a shelf and collect dust, so to me this wasnât a dumb question. Her tone of voice completely turned me off but I remained respectful to her. I donât know her name but she was an older lady, so if youâre checking this store out just know that the customer service might not be good unless you get the younger girl,...

The price for an item is higher than what you'd see in a place like Walmart, but the vision in the store is fair pay for fair work to the artisans. So a little more money for things that last a long time, while being ethical. But I'd say that prices are still reasonable. I just bought a fantastic backpack here to carry around my medical supplies, and it only cost $39. I've had a few items from the store that have lasted so far, a few years. I expect these items will still be in good condition in another few years. The vibe of the store was good, the staff super helpful and polite. Overall I really recommend just...
