If I could I would give them "0". I had a service with them yesterday (April 22, 2025) after waiting for many weeks. Despite the allocated window time they called me and changed the window time. I had to request to stick to the plan and they told me they would call me 1 hr in advance. They called 20min in advance and said we would be there in 20 minutes! I drove up as fast as could and they called me again while I was 2-3 min away( a traffic light only), the 1st person was fine, but all of a sudden, another man took the phone from him and started threatening me that they won't wait for me more than 2min in a VERY rude way. I saw the guy while he was shouting at me. I told him it was not a nice way to talk with a customer while I was walking towards him. He decided to NOT do my job at ALL the possible excuses that he could make. He said I am in the military and I am accurate!!! He picked on the wall and the studs. I told him I had the exact same TV mounted on the exact same wall in another location. (He didn't like it). Then he started asking where it was? and asked for the address to check am I telling him the truth or not!!!
He said not only he won't mount the TV but also he won't deliver/give the other TVs. He will take them back to the warehouse and I have to arrange another delivery!!
I asked to talk to his manager and he said you can not talk with him and you only can call 1-800 Best Buy number!.
After a 45-minute argument, another guy (1st one) came and said we will drop the TVs for you. I could tell he was not happy with his co-worker's attitude too.
Anyway, I believe this man doesn't deserve to work in a company that has provided good service for us so far and it is a shame that he represneting Geek Squad.
I filed a complaint and they are reviewing it. All I want is this guy to NEVER EVER treat ANYONE like he treated me. SO UNPROFEISIAL AND ROUD. (In my opinion, he even abused the military name as I have LOTS of respect for all military family members)

Read moreI came today to the store for an 11:20 appointment. I was fourth in line and when the store member asked who was there for an appointment, I was the only one that raised their hand. He proceeded to tell me to come up to the front and sit down to be helped. Both geek squad members then proceeded to help two of the people in the line without appointments. Mind you I am sitting there with a baby. 20mins later I have not been helped yet. I left once I overheard the original geek squad member tell his coworker if he could take care of me after he was done with the person he was with because I had an appointment. They were both currently helping people that did not have appointments, before someone that had one! All I needed was a battery change and they never bothered to ask me what my appointment was for. Read moreNormally my experience with the geek squad in Fredericksburg has been very positive but today they have shown their customer service sucks their communication skills need a lot work and overall think they are above those of us that come to them for help. I purchased a new all in one and requested the data from the old be transferred to the new one if it could be done. Time frame given olny a few hours we will have it back to you today. Go in to pick it after 6 hours for the rep to state its a 2 day turn around. My thing is this tell me that up front so I can make an informed decision instead of holding my equipment They hold a monopoly since radio shack and circuit city are gone.
