Editing to provide clarity of what happened. My friends and I who are young adults entered the store to look at some stuff as I had just gotten my first apartment. We entered the store and didn't make it far before the employee stated "You cannot be here" I walked over to ask why and that's when the employee said "You look too poor". We all left the store frustrated by this and confused as we had not created any disturbance entering the store and were all over 18. Additionally my friend had even seen something he wanted from the store in the entrance. So I told him to just peak in the store and ask if he can buy it, the employee greeted him at the door ready to throw him back out when he said he wanted to buy the product next to him. She then reluctantly rung him up. We thought it was odd our age wasn't even asked and noticed people of different races who looked younger than us were entering with no issue. So we called a friend of the same race who was 27 and looked her age to enter the store. The store tried to kick her out. We then had a friend of a different race who is 14 and looked her age enter the store, she was allowed to proceed without being stopped. This pattern continued for everyone else who entered the store. Store never issued an apology or acknowledged the situation. I don't know if it was just the one employee or the store but I do not recommend shopping here if that is the kind of people they want working at their...

We had a really wonderful experience at Manor House. Though we were not in the market for furniture, while casually browsing the store we spotted a beautiful vintage armoire and chest of drawers at a good price. Hasan who was a very friendly and personable salesman explained the features and quoted a very reasonable price to have these delivered to our home, on the 3rd floor of a townhouse. Mark and two other people brought the furniture. They had to disassemble the doors and take out the drawers as the vintage furniture was solid wood and extremely heavy. They bought padded rugs to ensure our wooden floors were not scratched, and they arranged the assembled furniture exactly where we wanted. We would certainly buy from here again and recommend it the store to those who appreciate eclectic vintage...
