If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. My husband and his groomsmen rented their tux’s from the freehold raceway mall location, and the experience was anything but pleasant. I called prior to the men going into to get fitted for their tux’s and made an appointment specifically noting how many men would be coming. Upon arrival a young girl working in the store told me they would not all be able to be fitted as the store was understaffed. There were 7 men and I had again I had made an appointment. I pushed back telling them everyone made arrangements to come here today that they must be fitted especially since I called previously to inquire and made an appointment. The manager stepped in and helped with measurements. We felt very rushed picking cuffllinks, tux styles, and the shoes. My husband gets the call a week before our wedding his tux is in. We go back to Freehold to pick it up, not only was the white undershirt filthy with stains on the front and collar but had a horrible odor. The tux had not been measured to his size properly, and the worst of it all was the incorrect style of jacket. We were told the girl helping us must input the incorrect tux code in their system causing this. After we asked the worker multiple times if the rest of the men had the same jacket and were assured they did. Asking for a confirmation, the worker printed a receipt and sure enough all the codes were wrong. None of the groomsmen had a good experience either. With ill fitting measurements that they all needed to be corrected. Tux’s only come in 3 days prior to the wedding date. With all these issues we faced you can imagine the added stress it added. I will never ever again use men’s wear house for a suit rental and have told everyone of our unfortunate experience. A place you think operated like a well oiled machine, has unprofessional employees who lack knowledge in the field and incompetence of entering correct sizing and numbers into a system for their clients. Highly disgusted by the dirty clothing and bad...
Read moreIf I could have given no stars I would have. Men’s warehouse in freehold has been the worst experience ever! My fiancé and I are getting married Saturday when we initially went we spent about two hours picking out a suit for him that he was going to purchase, only to find out his grooms man couldn’t rent the suit because it wasn’t available to rent and that wasn’t told to us till after he spent the time picking the suit. After that whole ordeal and finally finding something the following weekend he paid 300+ to rent the suit with shoes tie socks and a suit. My brother went in the following week just getting the jacket and pants, he paid 199. Grooms father went the week after and recieved jacket, suit pants, tie, shirt, shoes, and cuffs for 199. Why such a price difference? And why is everyone paying a different price? When he had called to ask this question he was given an attitude and automatically put on hold for them to come back and say they had no idea why this happened. His groomsman went last week to get there suits, everything included, they paid 169 … why a price difference again. Fast forward to today, the day to pick up the suit, the manager was helping my fiancé … his pants were not the slim fit he had picked out and they did not have them in stock nor would it be here in time for our wedding. The manager also informed him it’s $25 a day to rent the suit, when my father in law called to inquire about this 20 mins after my fiancé left he was told no it’s $25 a day if we didn’t return by Sunday. Not a single person knows what’s going on, certain people in that location are extremely rude and it has by far been this worst experience planning our wedding … hopefully all the groomsmen have the correct suit because my...
Read moreWell, we have NEVER had a good experience with Mens Warehouse in Freehold. First, my (now) husband, was in a wedding as a best man. his shirt had a BLOOD STAIN on it, buttons MISSING on his vest and by the end of the night the button on his JACKET came off. Now fast forward to OUR wedding. some of the bridal party went to other locations, like my father in law. the only item that fit him was his tie... i mentioned it to the tailor (a older woman who stated she is also a manager) and her response was disgraceful. my father and husband were in the dressing room, she had the NERVE to make hand motions to me asking if my father in law was 'fat' holding out her stomach and bouncing like santa claus. I was speechless that someone would say something like that to a customer. i told her no, he was obviously not measured right by your team. little did she know I was the BRIDE and when she found out her whole attitude changed. that is not what mens warehouse should have as 'management'. back to this store, no one was notified their tux was in, my husbands vest was too tight under his armpits and the woman then said 'well these are rentals so you get what you get' youre kidding me. yes they are rentals but we did NOT PAY OVER $200+ PER TUX TO NOT HAVE THEM FIT. I made her order a new vest, they NEVER ORDERED his TIE to begin with. This is the WORST STORE i have EVER been to, we will NEVER EVER step foot in there nor recommend them to ANYONE. I have tried steering away as many people from going to such a disrespectful store. if i could give 0 stars,...
