One star because I am not able to give it less. My daughter visited the store on 4/12/2022 to purchase a prom dress and received the most appalling customer service by Mr. Roy. As she looked at the dresses, she would text me the pictures. Mr. Roy proceeded to let her know that the pictures would not help her, that she needed a parent to try on a dress (even though she never even asked to try one in), that he may not have her size, and that she was too late to buy a dress as no seamstress would be able to fix the dress at this time. He was also absolutely inappropriate in asking her what school she attends. My daughter who rarely speaks up for herself, told him she wouldn't be purchasing a dress there and walked out. I called the store to ask for a manager and Mr. Roy refused to give me that information unless I told him what it was in regards to. I proceeded to tell him how incredibly rude he was. He has no business telling my daughter she was late in purchasing a dress and asking her inappropriate questions. The lack of professionalism was evident in our conversation as he did not even let me speak before he hung up again telling me to do what I needed to do. His attitude tells me that he may be related to management. We are completely disgusted by this behavior and would warn the owner and manager of this employee's conduct, completely unprofessional! My husband filed a complaint with mall security. The security director informed my husband that Mr. Roy is the owner. We will file a complaint with the franchise as well as the Freehold mall management. Freehold mall should have higher standard on the quality of service that is taking place because it is a huge reflection on their organization.

Update as of 4/13/22: We spoke to Freehold Mall management department and advised them that Mr. Roy is a liability for a lawsuit, given his track record. This man is rude and disrespectful and will treat anyone the way he wants based on racial profiling. I believe this is the reason he asked my daughter what school she attends.

Ms. Deborah claimed they could not break a lease to remove him because he pays rent. Therefore money is what continues to take priority rather than morality. We encouraged them to take a look at Mr. Roy's track record and suggested they give serious consideration in renewing his lease. We told them that we would, therefore, not be patronizing that mall because of their lack of response to this situation.

The whole experience made my daughter and I very uncomfortable.

Don’t waste your time here. Aside from the fact that some of the dresses are INCREDIBLY overpriced (I could buy them on SHEIN) the management is awful and the owner made rude and racist comments.

The girls working there were super kind and helpful, but the man there (I think the owner) is the rudest, most unprofessional and condescending man I have ever encountered. At first everything was fine. We walked in a little hesitant because of the other reviews given, but we gave the place the benefit of the doubt and my daughter even tried on 4 dresses that she loved. This man, however, was condescending and rude the whole time. At first it was comments about how we were dumb to wait for so long before buying a dress (we’re buying it a month and a half in advanced) and how we’re never going to find anything anywhere. Then, after my daughter tried on her last dress she was trying to decide between two of them, and whether or not she even wanted to spend so much (again, we found the same exact dresses for a quarter of the price, but she wanted to try them before she bought them online). I took her to look around once more while she contemplated the decision for a couple of minutes and he came up to us, and I cannot make this up, he goes “I told the girl helping you to leave because you’re taking forever. Are you guys Egyptian?” To which we told him no, we’re Lebanese. And he goes “yeah, I know you Egyptians and Lebanese can’t decide on anything”. Then he goes “just know that next time you can’t come in without an appointment, but good luck even finding anything because you’re too late.” (Mind you we triple checked to make sure we didn’t need an appointment).

This is the most insulting, disrespectful, and unprofessional thing I have ever experienced. Contemplating whether we want to buy an overprice $500 dress for ten seconds is not something we should be insulted for.

Also, I literally found some of the same quality dresses in the Windsor upstairs for around $100.

I’d like to start with I don’t leave reviews but for this place I feel it was necessary. We walk in there is 4 of us, we were just looking around to see if we liked any styles for my bridesmaids - please note there is about 3 other costumers in there not busy in the slightest. The sales workers on the floor were super nice , we found 2 dresses we liked and asked if we can try them on the sales worker says absolutely, pick anything you want to try on. So we do , the two dresses we try on have rips and holes, no big deal because they order them in but this is the quality they are showing. We didn’t like the dresses and we are going to walk out and whom I believe is either the manager or owner comes up I’m unsure of who he was, comes up and says yeah next time you need an appointment it takes 6 months to get a dress in with a nasty attitude. So we just started walking out- that could’ve been said when we walked in but him and the people on the floor seemed to have not communicated because the ladies were super nice. So we go on our merry way and go upstairs to another dress store ( I 150% recommend giving them your business instead of this place) I find a dress I absolutely adore upstairs but they do not carry it in white it was 400.00 , so as we are walking out I spot that same dress downstairs in this store. I walk in just to check it out and I am once again greeted by this same man- who is telling me “ if you are looking for a tag you won’t find it and we do not allow photography” I DIDN'T HAVE MY PHONE OUT I WAS SIMPLY LOOKING FOR THE PRICE BECAUSE IF HE WASN'T SO NASTY AND MADE ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND UNWANTED I MAY HAVE JUST WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT IT . I than told him he was great at his job and walked out. I’m assuming the price wasn’t on it because he was gonna charge way more than 400.00 for the exact same dress that was upstairs for a large up charge. Overall - this man was terrible and I’d just go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time or money which makes me sad because the people on the floor beside him were great but because of him I do...
