Read moreThe food was excellent! I had the tandoori chicken and my dining companion had the chicken vindaloo. I had the pishori naan and he had the garlic naan. We enjoyed everything. I forget the name of it, but the yogurt drink is delicious! Portions are also generous, and we took plenty home. The prices are mostly fair, except for the alcohol and the can of Coke (both discussed below.)
Service was friendly and mostly great, with a couple of exceptions. The positive is that the waitress was able to accommodate my onion allergy by omitting the gravy which everything normally has, and my chicken didn't need it. The three negatives for service were 1. She doubled some things we only intended to order one of, like the garlic naan and the can of coke. 2. The receipt was wrong and we had to have her fix it. 3. I ordered a double shot of Jameson, and that is definitely not a double shot that they served me for $12.99. We will likely be back the next time we're in Fresno, but I will be careful what we order and look over the receipt carefully. The only other issue is that the menu lists a can of coke at $1.99 and we were charged $3.99. The menu does say that prices are subject to change without notice, but almost double price for a 12 oz can of Coca Cola...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this place. The main reasons being this place is infested with cockroaches and they’re way understaffed. You can see cockroaches running around on the floor which makes me wonder about the mess in the kitchen and it disgusts me. There was just one girl to wait on tables in the whole restaurant and it’s not like the tables were empty. The place was packed. They also do take-outs simultaneously so there’s another guy at the cash counter. He ignores you if you’re sitting at the tables so you’re basically just waiting on the only other person in the restaurant and so is everybody else. My food got cold waiting for Naans so I just decided to cancel the order and pay for whatever was served which is Chicken and Malai Kofta. The food isn’t great either. The chicken was undercooked and bland. There is literally no reason at all for me to recommend this place to anyone. You shouldn’t even compromise because there is nothing that they do good which might just overshadow the bad. This place has the worst service in town. Steer clear. There are much much better Indian places in town with much better tasting food. They don’t even deserve a...
