Nextran Truck Centers — Local services in Fruita

We've been taking our truck to this location since 2014. Quick diagnosis; usually withing an hour. They have even worked past their hours to get us back on the road the same day... A couple of months ago we broke down in GA. My first call was to Fruita shop lead. Together we agreed best to be towed. I was able to sign in to Uptime Center; they give updates on the truck and even helped me try to reach to the dealer without any luck! We were towed to Vanguard, GA Forest Park, GA. Our truck was there 2 wks and had not even diagnosed. After the first week trying to reach anyone at the dealer without any answers, I reached out to Fruita management for guidance as it we knew it was a warranty issue. Mike and Curtis immediately assisted us. Our truck was pulled out of that location and towed us to Vanguard Volvo Adairsville, GA were out truck was repaired in ONE day...Tow billed was paid by Volvo.

Because of the chaotic (to say the least) situation that arise from the unfair and unjust service we received from dealer at Forest Park, GA, a Rep who handles warranty issues was reached by Fruita management who contacted him by emails and phone calls to inform him of the situation from Volvo at Forest Park, GA. Vanguard at Adairsville, GA is opposite than Volvo Forest Park, GA clean location, friendly staff and quick service!

We lost time and money but gained knowledge and respectfully gained an excellent relationship with two great dealers.

Where do I begin... limped my truck in for some AC repairs. I knew that I had other items that needed to be addressed as I had purchased my used Mack from others that never took care of her. Nextran Mike, and Warren took me in and welcomed me. Ac was repaired and $14,000 was what it was going to take to fix. There went my career. Mike asked if I had a warranty of any kind. I did. But it didn't look like the company would cover the costs. Mike took it upon himself to personally speak with the warrant company. He ended up getting them to cover almost $9000 of the repairs. I passed out! My truck is running great. I owe these great mechanics, and top of the line front end folksy livelihood. I will be coming back. Thanks guys!

*Added Info: After the repairs were complete, I drove from Colorado to the Los Angeles Market. By the time I got to CA, I could tell there was something wrong with my tractor. Took it to another shop where they diagnosed that the original repair did take, and would have to be redone. I contacted Mike, and he, again, immediately got involved personally, contacted the powers that be, and without hesitation, took responsibility of the repair, and paid for it.

You just don't get business that 'step up' like this. This really proves that they stand behind their work, and will do whats right to make sure of happy customers.

I WILL be coming back to this shop. They've earned my trust by just being there.

Had a breakdown in Utah, engine was running hot. Got towed to Fruita and after my experiences with Volvo dealers I didn't expect too much! I was so wrong! They got the truck in the shop first thing in the morning and diagnosed a bad water pump. They got all the needed parts and the truck was repaired the same day, I could leave in the night and made my delivery Friday night in Denver. As I had planned my home time, I was lucky and was home on time. Thank you guys for your great service! If you have problems with your truck, try to get her to Fruita for repairs. Friendly staff, clean shop, nice experience. Need a tow? Call them and they will direct you to another great company!

Edit: Today was my second visit at this dealer. My coolant tank was leaking since a few days, tried to avoid to go to a Volvo dealer in L.A. and preferred to fill up a few gallon of coolant to make it to Fuita. In and out in less than 1.5 hours! Curtis and your team,...
