It's always a great sign when you see the staff cleaning every inch of the chairs at every table. Shows dedication to cleanliness, which by the looks of the place, carries throughout the entire restaurant. Back that up with great, tasty food and a friendly staff and the 5-stars is a no-brainer. The bacon guac cheese burger exceeded my expectations. Others at my table enjoyed the basic cheeseburger and the bacon pepperjack burger and were equally pleased. The bacon pepperjack fell apart part way through from all the yummy sauce so a fork was required to finish. The seasoning on the fries was very good and the onion rings were real onions and perfect in their crispiness. My dad and I are definetly heading back for the reuben and the philly. I haven't been to Munchies in almost a decade so it was great to be so pleased on the return trip. Plus it is family owned so you can feel good about supporting local, the real kind of local. Only bummer part is I was so excited about the burger I forgot to take a picture before I...

I recently visited Munchies Pizza & Deli in Fruita, Colorado, and ordered a Philly cheesesteak. Upon tasting it, I found it resembled a French dip sandwich, which I don't enjoy at all. Normally, in such situations, most establishments would apologize and offer to make it right. However, the employee simply took my new order and informed me of the additional cost.

Feeling disappointed, my wife and I returned to our table. Unexpectedly, the manager, Skylar, approached us and asked how our meal was. I explained the situation, and without hesitation, Skylar made it right and got me the replacement meal I suggested. His quick and considerate response not only improved my perception of the customer service but also positively impacted my day and mood on a busy Saturday.

Skylar's exemplary customer service was beyond the norm. Thank you, Skylar, for holding your position well—I see higher heights in your future. Your dedication and attention to customer satisfaction truly made...

We had 2 smokey mountain burgers with beer battered fries and drinks. Burgers were absolutely delicious. Fries were well battered, hot, crispy, and awesome. We will definitely be back.

Now for customer service. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady as we entered the building. She was very patient with us as we had never visited here before. She explained a few of the menu items to us to aid our decisions. The food was brought out fairly quickly by another young lady. It was nice to see everyone working as a team. Different people would come out and clean tables, bring out orders, and wait on guests at the counter. One young man with a beard even went out of his way to rush up and opened the door when he noticed someone walking up using a cane and held the door for others as they left. Great service by a great group, in my opinion. Tell them all we appreciate their efforts...

This is a bustling, locally own business with very kind and helpful folks. Of course, you need to support local businesses, but Munchies makes it easy. Their food is amazing, and the beef they use has a quality taste to it. I liked it so much that I went twice in my short stay on the western slope. I'm excited that they have another store on 29 road as well. I ordered two different times, I can't remember the names of the burgers, but both were amazing. Their fries are amazing, and their gouda bacon filled maccaroni bites are SO good, you'll want a bunch!!! I got there at opening time my first visit, and they made a fresh pot of coffee for me. It was good coffee. Next time I'm in town, I definitely want to visit these fine folks again.

I sometimes go to Fruita to go to Walgreens on my way to Grand Junction, and have noticed this place several times and thought I would try it today. Obviously a nice family restaurant, they have very good customer service. The floor is definitely do to get replaced it's a cool looking floor red black and white, but looks very dirty. I went in there for the purpose of a good submarine sandwich, and they didn't even offer Italian Submarine sandwiches. I ended up getting the pastrami and I could have made that from generic deli meat. I'm sure some of the other food is good, it just happens to be what I ordered and it was not even close up to par.
