Dragon Treasure — Restaurant in Fruita

I don't usually leave reviews, but I want to leave one today for this restaurant. Yesterday was Christmas, we decided at the last minute about 745pm that we were going to call in an order for pickup. We were informed on the phone that it wouldn't be ready until about 915pm because they were slammed. If you're looking up this business, you'll see they were only supposed to stay open until 9pm. We told them hey nevermind, it's Christmas and we really would hate for them to work past closing, tonight especially. They insisted that it was fine and processed our order. We got our food, honestly it was probably after 9, I dont really remember that exact time, but the food was absolutely delicious. We left them a tip and told them Merry Christmas. They were incredibly selfless yesterday continuing to serve our community on a day when they really should have been home with their family. Someone left a review saying there's a Facebook post and all of these reviews are fake. THEY'RE NOT FAKE! This is a community that supports eachother. The people complaining that it took forever to get their meal, are showing just how ENTITLED they are. A little patience, kindness, and understanding goes a long way. I've never had a bad meal here and the wait times are practically non-existent the rest of the year. We had the 16.99 deal per head with starters and then 2 gravies. The starters including the soup and the cheese wonton were yum!! But the gravies not so much... they were really bland and lacked flavor and spices maybe. It could be that the food tasted bland for us because we are used to more spice and salt .. 😅 but definitely we have had better chinese/ asian food. I had the sweet and sour and beef and broccoli, but the serving sizes were huggeeee!! While this restaurant does well with getting the food prepared quickly. While we don't eat out often, we do try to support local when we do. However, we have found that we are ordering take out from here less and less often because each time we have been disappointed. A while back all of the take out containers shrunk in size but prices did not. Our last order this week was sadly disappointing. More chopped carrots than chicken or cashews in the Cashew Chicken, and very little beef in the beef and broccoli. Even the fried rice is a disappointment as it is literally just seasoned rice (not like other places with egg, peas, green onions,etc.).
