Slice Shabu — Restaurant in Fullerton

Went here with family, first: the food is great, delicious, the service was fast and efficient not gonna lie. BUT - the issues started when we paid, my friend and I split the bill for 4 of us and the staff inadvertently charged us 4 separate times (about $500 in multiple transactions) and claimed it was due to their point-of-sale system being down. It showed on their tablet that the payment was “loading” and so that’s why they kept charging the cards. BUT ALSO: keep in mind, staff was observed to be taking 5 shots of liquor with other customers (within the hour that we were there). Regardless, we disputed the payments with our banks. I received most of my money back but the bank except for 1 charge which I am still owed. Overall, for the entire experience I will not be returning. Food is good, but not worth the inconvenience. Hit and miss! When this place is crowded, you will be ignored and may wait a long time. I don't mind waiting, but I like to be acknowledged by the staff. We wanted to have shabu-shabu on Saturday but walked out not least because the loud music was thumping so hard that the bass made our seat where we waited vibrate (!). I don't need a stress response when I dine. Perhaps the owners want a certain age demographic, but unless the music is played at a reasonable level, I will always walk out. Fortunately, Fullerton has a lot of cool restaurants now and shabu-shabu in Brea isn't too far, either. I used their bathroom twice as the nearby ice cream shop didn't have one.

Looked like a trendy, modern bar by passing in the window and on my way to the restroom.

However, after using the bathroom the second time, the waitress was complaining about myself using their restroom when I was trying to order their expensive Fuji water as I wasn't hungry at that point.

They treated me less than a human being.

The owner actually attempted to call the police on me about the restroom debebcle and several intoxicated patron were yelling at him and mocking me as they had their fun.
