At the Treehouse — Local services in Gainesville

Wow! So my wife and I picked a wreath out of a bin full of wreaths. There were 3 bins all with the same price sign 5(dollars)for wreaths. Then there was a bin full of tree skirts with a sign(1 dollar) We got 1 of each. When I go to checkout the lady charged me 10 for the wreath and 5 for the skirt. I tried to explain that wasn't right. I told her about the bins. She told me the wreath must have been in the wrong spot. (Even though it was in a BIN with 20 other wreaths. Then she told me that my skirt wasn't even a tree skirt was also in the wrong place , even though it had a picture of it under a Christmas tree with lights on it. It was in the original package. But also in a bin surrounded by other tree skirts. Long story made long. She was really rude and didn't even get someone to go check. She took a phone call while I was still trying to explain. Needless to say I didn't pay for the items . This lady shouldn't be in customer service. Other visits have always went well. Not this one. SMH!!

I don’t post reviews on here but this store deserves a 5 ⭐️ review plus some. I just recently moved to the Gainesville area from the outskirts of Houston and it was my first time in the store. I haven’t ever seen a thrift shop so organized with friendly staff willing to answer questions and point me in the correct direction. There was a large variety of items. Just moving into my house one of the things I needed was some kitchenware. Glasses for $1 each and plates/bowls for $2 each 👍 Next, furniture, each piece of furniture had easy to read/locate price tags with the dimensions on them. Which, were priced very reasonably. Not having to pull out my tape measurer or ask staff for one made my shopping experience here that much easier. Overall, this store has it going on! They just seem to have it all! Love this place. The clothes are cheap, and they have so many different things to choose from. Kitchenware, sheets and pillowcases, sewing supplies, baby clothes, utilities, books and more! The people are nice, and have always helped me with my shopping. I will definitely donate here and shop her from now on. I used to shop at the gainesville tx goodwill but lately they've remodeled, become commercialized, and have been selling everything sky high. You don't even save money shopping there anymore.
