My parents went out on Christmas day for some tamales. They bought a batch and my son came to me and asked if it was normal for the tamales to be soft gooey and I said no. When I came upon the tamales they were still raw and uncooked and had a rotten smell to it. The worse came when my 9 year had food poisoning from the tamales that were being sold uncooked and rancid. It's not the first time we have gotten crappy tamales. For any food industry that wants to sell food for their clients should take every precaution to ensure food safety is top priority.
