My parents went out on Christmas day for some tamales. They bought a batch and my son came to me and asked if it was normal for the tamales to be soft gooey and I said no. When I came upon the tamales they were still raw and uncooked and had a rotten smell to it. The worse came when my 9 year had food poisoning from the tamales that were being sold uncooked and rancid.
