Marsha the manager is SO rude not to mention not helpful AT ALL. I would give zero stars if i could, my first interaction i asked if they would discount a halloween statue that had the pumpkin chipped still i loved it she was very rude and basically grabbed it out of my hands and said i can’t sell it to you i said are you sure i’ll pay full price and she said NO “you could cut your finger” mind you there was literally no way and if that was the case why would you have it on the floor where children can reach??? this was the only statue and she gave no other reasoning or solutions like ordering a new one with attitude btw i was very kind considering her rudeness. My second time coming into homegoods i’m walking around the stuff stuff in my hands and i realize dang i’ve seen her ALOT more than i’d like to i already do not like her after that but now you’re purposely going into the isles i am? that’s actually insane if you think i’m doing something wrong watch the cameras don’t harass a customer i have NEVER stolen not that she would know but the fact she made me feel so uncomfortable i didn’t even wanna shop anymore i had a very small black purse and a very skinny figure with a tee and leggings how could i steal homegoods furniture? i do not know if that’s what she was thinking or if she truly has a problem with me i’m not sure but her working there makes me not even wanna shop absolutely ridiculous. Read moreWhat a WOW! experience we reciently had at this store. Long story short, it is alway a pleasue to shop here, but the assistant manager, "David", who we had just met blew us away with his handling of our purchase of a new outdoor deck furniture set. I can only wish that the CEO of the company had been watching. From the moment we met, his overall attitude, style and professionalism were outstanding. On the drive home my wife and I tried to recall a better shopping experience and could not. It reminded us of the Lexus tag line "Experience Amazing". Although our new deck furniture cost tens of thousands less than a new Lexus lol, the experience was met with the same respect for the needs of the customer and the feeling of quality. HomeGoods is one of our most favorite and valued stores and we only wish to make it even better by calling out this latest experience. I retired years ago from 36 years of wonderful service with the worlds largest manufacturer of consumer products and if I know anything, it is this- When outstanding people doing outstanding work are rewarded, outstanding things happen for us all. Keep up the great work HomeGoods and take a long, hard look at "David" Mr. CEO, he is made of the stuff of retail legend and my sincere thanks again David, I hope I have not embarrassed you sir, but I just had to give you the recognition you so...
Read moreMy visit today involved the return of a large picture frame. I could not locate the receipt. The first associate (female) advised she would have to complete a store credit- no problem. I shop here all the time. I was informed that the price sticker had the wrong department code on it and Manager, Jeff was called. Jeff advised me that he could not make the return due to the incorrect department code and not having the receipt. I was finally able to locate the receipt in my email that matched the information on the price tag. Jeff proceeded to state the price tag had been tampered with and he would not be able to make the return. I informed him that if the price tag had been tampered with, it would rip. He continued to accuse me of tampering with the price tag and proceeded to remove the tag. In the process of trying to prove his point, the tag ripped. Jeff advised that he would refund me this time, however would not do in the future. At no point did he apologize for the error made by the store for marking the item incorrectly or accusing me of tampering with the price tag.
I will be paying my credit card off today and shredding it. I have been embarrassed and will not be shopping with HomeGoods...
