Terrible experience: The manager Kevin does not do a good job or take responsibility. Will file additional complaints with corporate and just dispute the charge with American Express. I'm sure this local franchise who lives in Wisconsin according to Kevin and is not present at all. It appears the general manager Kevin feels he can treat customer poorly with no recourse.
So ordered food for pickup on the Culver's application. Drove to the store the store has a one way traffic pattern. I stopped at one of the first available spots right out of the fount door. Selected I had arrived at the store. Waiting 15 minutes before giving up on waiting and going into the store where no one greeted me. Person at the front of the store was looking at the kitchen acknowledged my presents after a few minutes and asked me to wait while they continued to stand still looking at the kitchen. Someone did come help me after a few minutes. I explained the situation and was told they have specific spots, but they are at the back of the parking lot. So to find them you need to drive around the entire store. People were uncaring and rude, and had that been the end, I would not be sending this message.
Next, I get home and realize the clearly unattentive person who reluctantly helped me didn't give me my entire order. When I called the manager, I was told I had to come to the store to get a partial refund. The GM Kevin was rude, uncaring about my experience, and told me the owner lives in Wisconsin and he didn't have a boss to report to. I guess this makes sense given...
Read moreUpon entering with my service animal, staff informed me that the owner instructed them to remove all animals including service animals. This is illegal under both state and federal laws. Georgia title 30 chapter 4 states that denying access to a service animal handler is a misdemeanor of a high and aggravated nature, punishable by a fine of up to $2,000, imprisonment for up to 30 days, or both. The Dept of Justice has historically fined businesses up to $10,000 for denial of a service animal. After I called police to the scene, the manager asked the two legal questions allowed under ADA regulations and allowed us to dine in so we didn't need to press charges this time. As not only a handler but also a service dog trainer with clients in the area, I sincerely hope that no more service dog handlers are illegally removed from the premises. I have videos of the entire encounter posted publicly to my Facebook page. If it happens again, the judge will have proof that this has been an ongoing issue so they can make a better decision about the business owner's...
Read moreMy wife got a salad and then realized her heart was set on a burger. Normally we'd just get a burger next time, but she is also pregnant. She gets this one, you know?
I go up to send the salad back. It's a fine salad, but she really wanted a burger. I ask if I can give them the salad back and get a burger for her?
The woman at the front says no trades, we can't reuse the food. Also no refunds. Buy a new burger.
Ok. I know they can't reuse the food. Some restaurants take the food back to keep people honest. Some places tell you to keep the food. When there is an issue, I always offer just in case. But they usually make it right, even if it's something on our end like ordering the wrong thing.
Culver's is the first food place I have been to that does not make it right when you have an issue. That's their decision. Mall kiosks and flea markets don't do refunds either. I got another burger for my wife and we went somewhere else for ice cream.
The burgers were good. The place was clean. I am never going to...
