Yesterday March 6th my husband and I came in to get my almost $9500 worth of jewelry inspected. We ONLY buy from maryann and every single piece of jewelry my husband has bought me, has been sold to us BY HER! Last night was the second time we had to (DEAL) WITH the assistant manager Jennifer! The first time she constantly was bad mouthing Maryann in front of several customers! I had to ask her nicely that time to not speak about an employee, who does a fantastic job, in front of other people! Last night as soon as I opened my jewelry bag Jennifer rolled her eyes and proceeded to tell me these exact words, "You don't have your certificates with you so I'll TRY to find your account"🙄 by that point I didn't even want her to really touch my jewelry and if it hadn't been time for them to be inspected and cleaned I would have just left! She failed me before she even started by putting a bad taste in my mouth over my jewelry certificates when all she has to do is look up my phone number! Mary Ann has done this several times! If Mary Ann ever leaves that store, I promise you myself and my husband will never come to Zales again! I am not dealing with shady crappy people that think it's funny to talk about people behind their back! Nor will I ever buy anything from them! I am so furious because this has been two different instances to where that nasty lady Jennifer has failed us! And I can guarantee you my husband will never buy from Zales again! Read moreNot happy! Got engaged 6/10/23. Took the wedding set in to be sized and engraved, was told it would be back in 3 weeks. Did not get the set back until 5 weeks later. Had it back for a short period of time before a stone fell out of the engagement ring. Once again, took it to the store, was told due to the fact I just got them back, they would put a rush order on it. Was told then it would be a week, and that time I got it back 3 weeks later. After leaving the store and getting home, I noticed the ring felt different. Thought maybe my hands were going thru being swollen and not swollen or something. After wearing it to work that night, the ring seemed big. So I started looking at it. The engraving I had put on it the first time was no longer there. I stopped at another jewelry store and had them check the size for me and it was bigger than the ring I dropped off. So I call yet again and explain the issue about it and my concerns. The woman I spoke with, said to give them one more chance to get it right. Being so close to my wedding day I wasnt taking the chance of taking my rings in until after my wedding. So again I now take my rings in for a third time. For sizing, engraving. Was told it would be two weeks. Called a few days before the two weeks was up and I was told it would be in the on the date I was told or two days after that. Pushing 3 weeks again and still have heard nothing. Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to this Zales earlier this year to look for potential engagement rings. Z helped us that time and we never felt pressured and he was very friendly and informative. Fast forward to now, my boyfriend needs me to pick out a ring 😅. So I figured I’d check out IDC (international diamond company) to see if they had anything different. What I found was a different vibe. I mentioned we were looking for lab created rings and she just became wide eyed and told me they weren’t real and that they’d depreciate in value and nothing is like a real diamond (I’m not bashing on anyone who chose a genuine diamond, we just wanted a lab one). She immediately shut it down and after that the rest of the experience wasn’t genuine. If I gave her an idea of what I wanted, she’d go for a more flashy version of it. So I politely said thank you and saved the information she gave me. I got in my car and went straight back to Zales. Jennifer helped me this time and just like with Z, it was a chill and pleasant experience. She really listened to what I liked, answered all my questions honestly, and gave me reassurance with their protection plans.
