A little suspicious of this location. Got here at 2:30pm and was told it would be an hour and a half and that I would get a text when my clothes were done. No text received by 4:00 so I went in to see the status. Still wasn't ready. Left and came back around 5:20 and still hadn't been done. Turns out my bags got missed. My number was 785. The other numbers on the shelves all started with 79. The woman hurriedly went through my bags as I sat and watched her. Three trash bags full of name brand clothes - Roxy, O'neill, Hurley, Express, F21, Buckle, most of which was in almost like-new condition. I know that conditions can be biased because I am the owner of the clothes but in truth, most of these clothes had only been worn once, if even that. The quality was impeccable for most items. I only ended up selling 1 F21 top, 1 coach purse, and 1 pair of Buckle jeans (which there were two identical pairs just in different washes but only one got chosen - and funny enough, the one that was worn more!!). She hands the items that they are buying over to the person at the register who then tells me the reason they couldn't take any other items was due to the brand, condition of the items or their store not accepting those items at this time. Ok, understandable - but this came from someone who didn't even GLANCE at my other clothes so how would she know? Wasn't very convincing as I had walked around the store at least twice and saw many clothes from those brands on the racks - tank tops, dresses, pants, etc.
Needless to say, not the experience I was hoping for but now I know! Take your clothes to thrift boutiques - most will give you 40% for your clothes and will accept more whereas Plato's only gives you 30% and has proven to be quite selective with what...

Read moreA great go to resale, thrift, previously owned store for modern, trendy current style clothes, shoes, pocket books, wallets, book bags, gym bags, hats and accessories. They stock the known name brands !!! This location is always fully stocked in both men and women. I always make a purchase when I go here there merchandise is never the same. They often have sidewalk sales where racks of clothing are a % off starting low and increasing to higher, I've bought lots @70% off the mark down price from the sidewalk sales.... Store is always clean and heavily staffed the times I've been in there. The employees, managers and even owner seem to all work together as a team to give customers reason to return.... I noticed a lady changing a display as I was going in and she then began cleaning the windows. As I'm leaving she thanks me for coming in and mentions a upcoming sale to me. Several visits later I now know that is the owner of the store. Dedication and hard work which is what all areas need more of....locally owned and...
