Really upset with the bait and switch attitude! I went in thinking I would get the 5 year financing for a living room set and when I went to do the online purchase in the store, the salesman said the promotion had just ended and the new promotion was for the 4 years. Obviously I was a little disappointed! but now I get billed for 3 year financing not 4!!!!!! And No One cares who works there!! I'm being told "as a matter of fact mam that was the promotion at the time". Well the truth is that's not what I was told and I trusted the salesman was being honest, as we spoke about this in great detail. Since I had not seen the furniture, I was also told I could and should return it on the spot if I was not satisfied or if it was not what I thought or if there was something wrong with it at the time of delivery. But when I tried to look it over the delivery men did not want to wait and they were in a hurry and insisted that I could return it later if I found something wrong. (I told them what the sales man had told me)!! Unfortionately there ended up being a problem with the furniture and now they will not let me return it! they will only let me exchange it with the same furniture which was poorly made. Also its been very hard to get any return calls from the store. All I can say is bait and switch! DO NOT trust anything they tell you! Once you've made the purchase they don't care...
Read moreWe are very pleased with Rooms To Go in Gainesville, especially the sales person Nautica! We ordered a Tempur Pedic bed on a Monday and we needed it quickly due to health issues. They were able to get it delivered within just a couple of days. The bed came and a portion of the electronics did not work properly. They sent a replacement bed a week later and that Tempur Pedic bed had the same issue. A third replacement was ordered and delivered and still an issue with the TempuPedic bed. The sales rep Nautica was quick to follow up with me, taking charge to get this rectified and the district manager Jason contacted me. He was quick to send a store manager and tech out to go through the set up and what I thought was a RTG issue was actually NOT. The issue was with TempurPedic! There were two recalls on parts that they did not convey to RTG. Rooms to Go worked expeditiously to try to resolve and even after determining it was the bed manufacturers issue, still followed up with me to make sure the manufacturer is handling the issue. If you are looking for a company with a great sales rep and a company that has complete follow through and great customer service, I highly recommend Rooms To Go in...
Read moreFirst we went to the Ocala RTG store. We will never go back there again. The salespeople were sitting around a table looking glum. One of them greeted us and after finding out what we were looking for said he didn’t have it at the store. He didn’t even suggest where we could get it! We asked him if one of the other RTG stores had it. He went to look it up (Cindy Crawford Beach Collection). He comes back and says: “It’s at the Gainesville store.” We had to again try to get information from him as to where the store is located in Gainesville. He said he didn’t know he never h go to Gainesville. Can you believe this a salesperson who works for RTG doesn’t offer to give a customer at the very least the address of the store! This was on Sunday, 10-16-22. Next we checked the GPS on my phone and found the address and directions. So glad we found Cynthia Walcott and her assistant at the Gainesville store!!!! They were wonderful!!! We will always go to the Gainesville RTG store only in the future even though it’s about 45 minutes away from where we live!!
