I have been to this location a few times, and while it does not have anywhere near the same amount of inventory of a standard location, it's a nice place to visit and get ideas. They have a few kitchen and bedroom setups, plus a display living room. They cycle in new displays so you have an idea of what is currently available to order (which you can do from many of the computer kiosks that are placed around the store, and they also have staff present to assist with design and ordering).
They do stock a smallish selection of their home goods items, mostly decorative and kitchenware, and there is a selection of cushions, pillows, and duvets. They've got a few other odds and ends too, so I'm glad it's here instead of having to drive an hour or so to one of the other locations if I just want to browse around.
Aside from that, I have done an online order pickup here for two large cabinets, which after checking in, they brought out to the waiting area a flatbed cart with everything loaded onto it. Pretty simple to do, but parking can be an issue. I had a U-Haul which we parked along the side of the building as getting enough space for that in the 15 minute parking area is likely impossible.
I've also done returns here from both the College Park and Woodbridge/Potomac Mills locations with no issue. Just make sure you have the receipt, which will have all the required information on it (date, store number, register number, transaction number, etc).

I recently moved into a brand-new apartment, an exciting yet overwhelming experience, and MK played an instrumental role in making the process smoother and more enjoyable. Though my appointment wasnât originally scheduled for an in-depth design consultation, she went above and beyond to help me create the perfect studio apartment setup.    Read moreThis review concerns the pickup point service at this location. My rating is one star due to the following issues:
Parking: There is extremely limited parking availableâapproximately three "short-term" 15-minute spots directly in front of the pickup entrance. I waited for 30 minutes, and no one vacated their spot. Ultimately, I had to park at the loading dock, marked by a yellow line next to the store, and quickly run in to retrieve my items.
Queue Management: After checking in on my phone, Ikea indicated that I was second in line with an estimated wait time of 2 to 6 minutes. However, I waited for more than half an hour, and the queue did not move. From across the street, while waiting for parking, I could see that no one was at the pickup counter, suggesting there was no one ahead of me in the queue.
Lack of Assistance: Once inside to collect my items, an employee informed me that even if I had parked in front, I would still have to enter the store to retrieve my items. Additionally, no assistance was offered to help load the items into my car.
I have used Ikea pickup points at other locations where the queue system worked efficiently, and assistance was readily available for loading items into my vehicle.
