We purchased LG washer/dryer set, along with all kitchen appliances last August and September of 2021. We were told by Mike that LG was offering a 10% rebate. Mike told us they would take care of the paperwork. (Which come to find out we couldn’t file the rebate ourselves, in December 2021 my husband tried) It took awhile for us to get our stove, after being told they had it in stock, but whatever we understood. Once we finally got our stove I asked about the LG rebate, and Caroline said that it takes 6-10 weeks. Fast forward to the middle of January I called to ask about it and whoever I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude. She told me that she’d call me when they got our rebate. Didn’t hear anything again, so I called back in March/April, and got the same run around. I honestly forgot about it until this week. I called again, spoke with Caroline- she gave me a six digit code to check on LG’s promo page, went to the website and sadly that code wouldn’t work. So I ended up calling LG they said that I should of received a confirmation email when the rebated was filed, which I never did. LG also looked up my email there’s nothing. We’re talking almost $700, and it’s a big deal to me, and we probably will never see it. The ball was either dropped (which if it was just say that!) or they pocketed the money and are getting upset that I keep calling about it. Communication has been less than stellar and they’ve made zero attempts to make things rights. I will never purchased another item from them. Very...
Read moreI can't attest to their work, but they're pricing on home visits you'll want to be aware they're not cheaper than the competitors. Pros: -the guy that stopped by was ultra quick in his machine check Cons: -price of simple check -time to wait for an available check The full rundown of my story is that our washer machine broke and they're guy that goes out to check/fix at homes was on vacation and that i understood. Even still i chose to wait a couple weeks to get my washer checked by him. Now the reason i waited is cause i was told it would cost $90 for him to drive out from Galesburg to my home in alpha and some of that $90 could go towards a new washer or something. There was a place near quad cities or something (I'm not originally from around here) that could stop by that same day but it would cost $120 and fully not refundable at all. His price was due to the extra driving distance. (Mind you were paying for a wedding and also buying a house so I'm trying to save money). So i opted for Lindstrom and waited almost three weeks. Than i found out my washer would cost more to fix than buy a new one so i didn't get anything done. When the bill finally arrived a few weeks later and i called to pay and verified the bill it was not $90 but rather $120! So i waited all that time and still paid the same amount. Are you kidding me $120 for a simple drive from Galesburg to Alpha that the tech spent five minutes or less at my...
Read moreWe recently purchased a property that Lindstrom had "installed" a dishwasher after the owner put it up for sale. The first time we ran the dishwasher it leaked at both the drain line and water supply causing damage to our flooring. After two weeks of "investigating" and finally a visit to the site by a service rep, it was explained that they were only responsible for connecting the dishwasher to existing lines and since the leak was on "our side" of the connection they were not responsible. We were told that the unit was tested after being connected but with the volume of water leaking from the supply line that is hard to believe. Regardless, when connecting to lines that caused the plumber we hired to redo the installation to say "I can see no reason anyone would connect a dishwasher this way", we should have at least been informed that the connections were not good. It is frustrating that anyone would walk away from connections that look like those in the pictures below and say nothing. Just keep in mind that "installed" (as stated on the receipt we got from the previous owner) at Lindstrom's only...
