Amazing little gem along the walking strips of Galveston. I've been here a couple of times but decided to give a review to better introduce the shop to everyone.

This is very much a pirate theme store, you'll find all kinds of pirate related items and trinkets for sale. They also have steampunk accessories scattered throughout the store.

They have very reasonable prices as well, if you've ever researched outfits or are familiar with Renaissance faire, you know they have absorbent prices. These are half or a third of what you'd find there. The quality is also on par with some items found at the faire.

My kids particularly liked the upstairs loft area, it has a sense of authenticity with the wooden stairs and loft overlook.

The owner is also very friendly and is more than happy to answer any questions you might have, he also has a lot of knowledge about pirates and their lore. Talking to him for a bit and you'll quickly discover that he's a true enthusiast with anything regarding pirates.

The owner is very friendly and knows his pirate and local history. Very enjoyable to listen to. His shop is fun for pirates of all ages. If you’re just starting your new wardrobe or growing your existing, it’s definitely worth stopping in here. I’m growing mine so I wanted a new piece. They also have some great books, weapons, home wears, and just some other great fun stuff you never knew you needed. And it’s right on the strand. Such an interesting store!! They have unique items from this period imported from a company that specially makes them in Spain—like authentic replicas of Spanish galleons and handheld weapons. Spy glasses and compasses that work! And of course pirate hats in many styles including a surprising steam punk.
