Amy Lane — Local services in Galveston

I'm truly not sure where to start with this review. There are so many things to like about Amy Lane gift shop. First the products are largely local and very fun, which is what my wife and I search for when we enter any shop. But more importantly is the way they glorify God and His message with every part of their shop. They are truly living to honor Him and it shows. In the back of the shop is a prayer wall with 100 hooks and people are able to leave prayer and praises. The owners then pray over them. I myself stopped to read and pray over several of them. It is so inspiring, gracious, humbling, and glorious. Along with the prayer wall is a Bible where you can highlight your favorite verse and leave what inpires you about it. We spoke with the owner and shared our story and she took the time to listen and was so inspiring. This was the highlight of our trip and when we return we will be back. If there is anything you should do in Galveston, you should come to this shop. The owners, John and Stacey, are the beacon of light in a dark world. Their products are wonderful, but the Spirit overflowing in their shop is a testimony of what God can do in our lives when we put Him first. Their ministry is their store. It’s a quaint spirit filled store. Come check out their prayer room and let God take charge of all your troubles. Buy a book for a family member at any age, buy scented waxes to make your space smell inviting, buy an item for the baby to be born into a world of darkness, or buy a gift that brings tears to its receiver. OMGOODNESS, we love shopping here every time we are in Galveston. Not only is the store pr😍tty, I've found some of the best gifts for friends such as Christian devotional books, fun baby toys, jewelry, greeting cards, and more. I have to mention they carry some of the best loose leaf tea on the island😁 as well as a plethora of their farmers market styled canned goods, savory and sweet.
