However, as my mom and I were browsing we were speaking in spanish and I guess the two blonde women working decided to racially profile us once they heard us speak because they followed us non stop. When I went to try on some bracelets, my mom in spanish whispered to me "let's leave, I don't think they want us here" I looked up from trying on the bracelets and I had the two blonde women on either side of me, clearly watching me, only about 2 feet away from me on both sides. Definitely felt targeted, since there was plenty of other people in the store and we were the only hispanic/spanish speaking people in the store. My dad was helping me up the stairs, and the manager was looking at me with the ugliest look. Read moreI loved it here! So cute! I went around the shop and loved how it was set up! You can even purchase an oyster which guarantees a pearl inside! It’s about $20 dollars and the bag as a QR code which you can scan on how to open them! A nice neat place! Even if you won’t stop by here, I highly recommend going deep into the strand and where there are so many small shops in Galveston!
