I already left a review on the Animal Clinic page but wanted to leave one here too. This place is great. We recently moved away from Galveston and weâre going to have a hard time finding a vet clinic as good as this one! They were great with our cats, the costs were reasonable, and they were always super flexible and accommodating. We used to go on Saturdays but the wait would be crazy long. I think they stopped their Saturday clinic due to staffing. But after that, they were always able to squeeze us in on short notice if we were willing to drop off in the morning and pick up later. Which worked well for us. They were also very communicative during the day. They were also willing to give us prescriptions for certain medications without appointments after a while (lots of fleas and worms in Texas!) One of our cats is basically feral and has some health issues and they were always so good with her. Our other cat also scratched the vet when he was clipping her claws and he was so nice and nonchalant about it lol. Could not recommend this...
Read moreGood care. Friendly staff. Ease of making appointments. Immaculate clinic, even lacking the typical veterinary smell. What else is lacking is Dr Jonesâs ability to answer questions posed many times by a very concerned and distraught cat mom. As a vet, you should know how important our fur children are to us and communication should allay stress, not induce it. Impressive chat response time, especially being part-time, just would have been helpful to have had my specific questions answered. Luckily, Peyton had no issues answering my questions regarding a game plan, so I would know how to plan my catâs next steps. Well, a few days later, instead of receiving a well-deserved apology for poor communication by my vet, the practice owner expresses they are âunable to retain me as a client within our practiceâ. Show some compassion that your client isnât getting her questions answered. Take accountability for your employeeâs inability to effectively communicate. Cat Clinic youâve helped many cats, but you failed me, and worse yet, you...
Read moreLiterally made me cry! They took our cat in a back room and would not let us be with him. For the next 15 minutes we heard the most horrendous screaming and crying. When the doctor finally came to us she simply said they could not get a blood draw. So knowing nothing about his health just kept suggesting to keep him on heavy tranquilizers indefinitely. We said no but she just kept pushing it. We asked for our cat back and waited alone for 45 minutes before they finally gave him back to us. Charged us $92 for Literally doing nothing. We got the report back today and it turned out they muzzled our 17 year old cat who has no front claws. Stretched his back legs after being told not to due to a previous back injury and attempted to draw blood straight from the jugular! They literally tortured our geriatric cat! These people don't need your money they need charges filed...
