IMAX — Local services in Garfield Township

Everything was good and well at first today took my 9 year old autistic daughter to see conjuring last rites. She has been extremely excited to see it and insisted in IMax. Everyone was helpful and courteous at first. The one star comes from the movie being ruined for us. After spending nearly $70 for the 2 of us between tickets and concessions we were verbally assaulted and betrayed by a power tripping usher. As I read aloud for by daughter the opening story sequence as she has a learning disability I obviously offended him. He jumps in front of us and roars we need to be quit where we sit everyone can here us and continued to scold us for 3 minutes as we both tried to ignore him and the whole theater staring at us. Then he goes down 12 rows and yells up enjoy your movie. Really make a loud scene to quiet somebody? Need to teach these kids a lot more about talking to people so they don't think they are Wyatt Earp playing down the law I will never go back and I recommend anyone with a special needs child know matter how much they love a movie and want to go DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS IMAX.! They are no disability friendly. Once something like this happens you can't do nothing sitting there angry watching your special needs child more worried about who is watching her or who may yell at her again more than the movie and see her not be able to enjoy it because she is worried she may make a noise just...

Sure it’s easy to watch a movie/show at home… but this is the place to enjoy the movie with the people you live.

The movies were made for a big screen… so forget about your 43” smart TV for one night. Upgrade to the ultimate big screen, 8K, surround sound, and accessible popcorn...

they can do better with the popcorn. some days it's good. some days is soggy styrofoam. the hours suck here. their doors were closed before 8pm on a Tuesday. eww. not impressed. bring back the movie theaters at the mall they were better than this. why we built is a whole new AMC theater is baffling to me...
