Teal Sky Studio Boutique — Local services in Georgetown

I recently visited, and while I understand the need to maintain a certain atmosphere for the boutique’s clientele, I was disappointed by how a situation was handled. My friends and I were gathered with our kids near the boutique, enjoying the outdoor space, when the owner called to have us removed, stating we were being ‘too loud.’

While I understand the boutique may want to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for its customers, I was surprised by how this was handled. Instead of politely addressing the group directly or asking us to lower our volume, the situation escalated unnecessarily. It would have been much more effective—and considerate—to kindly request a reduction in noise before asking us to leave altogether.

To add to this, there was construction happening on the street nearby, which contributed to the noise level. Singling out our group under these circumstances felt disproportionate and left a negative impression.
