DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Glendale

We're in town for a soccer tournament and stopped by to kill some time between games and look at new cleats for my 13-year-old daughter. It's a new store, and it showed – it's well-appointed, and its layout is efficient; we were able to navigate around the store purposely, and product categories were easily defined.

The highlight, however, was the customer service. Mikobi, over in cleats, was incredibly patient as he worked with my daughter to find the right pair of new cleats. His ability to extract feedback from my 13-year-old impressed – he brought the right blend of humor, patience, and acknowledgement, while never dismissing her feedback as being any less valuable because it came from a 13-year-old. After an initial check-in with her, he offered several options for her to start with, allowing her to try on multiple pairs (after patiently going to the back to pull different sizes to find the right fit) to find the right cleat for her style of play.

The Staff were the nicest people I have ever met. They were super helpful, kind and patient when I was buying shoes. Jalen was knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect pair of running shoes and he was super nice. This store has a collection of Nuggets, Avs and Broncos Jerseys for amazing prices and many players on different teams. This brand new store is the coolest dicks I have ever been to.
